I adore him - he cured the vile, toxic toothache known as Megson. After that, if he was a blind man leading us across an eight lane, no-speed-limit-motorway, I'd follow...

What does the future hold for Bolton wanderers?

Joy unlimited - probably in a range of divisions but, hey, my second visit to WHL was in the old Div 2 - you beat us 1-0, but we finished top of the league and you not...

Who are you routing for to take 4th?

Don't care - would like man u (spit) to finish 5th though...

Yes. And if achieved prettily, and with a double over Spurs, especially so...

Not yet - he needs the players to do it. He doesn't have them yet.

Wilshere is very promising but not experienced enough to be a game changer (and may never be one, but looks like an excellent player in the making). Weiss made both goals when we made ourselves safe beating Stoke away, undeservedly. For that we're grateful. That is the only thing he's done. But he looks like he might, occasionally, in the right mood, be a game changer.

We like Davies more than Heskey.

I'd go 4-5-1 and try to stifle. It's our best chance, and a slim one.

Some say the townsfolk of Bolton were known as Trotters long before the football team existed. Trotters being a term for a practical joker which we are apparently renowned for.

Yes, because another change of manager anytime in the next two years would be a disaster. Allardyce was given a ten year contract to build his team.

Consolidation in the mid-table and (hopefully) a decent cup run

Every season. Each place above that is a bonus.

Droopy has screwed every club he's been at. The financial burdens of West Ham, Portsmouth and Southampton can surely be no coincidence. How much is is house worth at Sandbanks? See what happens when you (eventually) sack him.

Jury's out - I think many were relieved he isn't Gary Megson (rightly or wrongly)

I'm rather hoping is involves some stinking rich owner for a season or two, but not holding my breath. Too much money flying about to make it a fair race in the Prem at the moment.

Who are you routing for to take 4th?
City - For the stick they've got over the years from United, whilst like us they've been down a couple of Divisions. Anyone breaking the Big 4 monopoly is well welcomed by me though, so I wouldn't be unhappy if Spuds or Villa got there instead - just a bit pi$$ed that Arsenal are still there too.

Would survival be enough next season?
Financially, survival is always the top priority - it's not always easy on the eye though.

Do you feel Coyle is successfully changing your style of play into a more attractive passing game?
Not really at the minute. People forget that he didn't officially come in to the Club until half way through the Jan window. It'll take time.

Did the loan signings of Jack Wilshere and Vlad Weiss help in this?

Weiss hasn't played much, but changed the game at Stoke. Sometimes when you're scrapping at the bottom of the league, 34 step-overs and a wayward cross are a bit of a luxury, but he looks a good prospect in a few years time.

Wilshere - Been much debate about. Again, with two forwards firing (which we don't have), he'd probably look a better player, but he's certainly another one that looks a good prospect.

What is your opinion of Kevin Davies in comparison to Heskey who is an England international?

I think if Davo had the same pace as Heskey then there'd be no competition, but he doesn't.

What will be your starting 11 on saturday?
Probably same as last Saturday.

Do you respect harry redknapp or are you members of the anti-harry brigade?
He's good. People bang on about what he spent at Pompey, but they made a profit on most of his signings. If they didn't have the cash to bring them in, in the first place, there's not a lot Harry could do about that, assuming the Chief Exec gave him the budget. Quite a few managers at Spurs have had backing and money and not managed to get you realistically fighting in the top group.

What is your prediction for the game?
Unlike last season, when we needed a point at least, I think we'll have gone on holiday this time around. Spurs win by 2-3 goals.
