I hope we don't sell him as he has such a bright future in the game if he stays clear of injuries.

What we 1-0 up already?

GDS not even on the bench...
Its annoying he obviously isn't fully fit and ready to play which is disappointing because we could have done with a bit more creativity in the side against man u.
I think Gio's an exceptionally talented player but unfortunately he might be a bit lightweight for the Premiership. He was impressive back at Barca, even got a hat-trick for them one game, and he's done well for Mexico but he just hasn't shown that in the few appearances for Spurs so far and hasn't been given enough of a chance. Seems a bit wasteful
To be honest I can't see him having a future at the Lane, much as I'd love to see him stay and the club get rid of wastes of space like Pav, Bentley and maybe even Keano (he's not the player he was). I reckon he will end up going back to Spain, his style of play suits their league.
I was tasked with writing an article yesterday for work (I'm lucky enough to be a football writer) which you can see here:‘The Boy Has Got Skills’ – Giovani Dos Santos | FootballFanCast.com - it basically reitirates what I've said, the boy's clearly very skillful but he may be a bit lightweight for Spurs. I'd still like to see Harry give him more of a chance though. Seems most of you feel that way too
I am pretty sure he knows that hes lightweight and that is how he needs to be I am sure he has been lifting weights and is building some more power every time I see him on tv he looks a bit more built barely noticeable but it is there, I think he has a future at the lane he just needs more playing time to toughen him up a little play time here and there can make a big difference.

Leader of the Spurtles.
i second that PR, i think he just needs time, seeing him against the US i am frightend everytime he has touched the ball the last 2 times we've played. all he need is to check his attitude at the door and work to get that starting spot. i know once he can get a could couple runs he would fit nicely with us. hopefully though we use him as opposed to just sell off another good talent.
Gio=Lengend. Get him playing and he will produce. i think what he lacks in physicality he makes up for in mentality. He believes he is the best and we need players like that. Peterborough is a good place for him to impress. And even against wolves should if Harry choose to give him a go.! He is the future. We thrive on creative players like he and Modric! And Lennon!!
Modric was deemed to lightweight as was Lennon and Defoe.
They came out the other end smelling of roses and I think if this lad wants to he will too.
On the flip side The hud in theory should be the ultimate Preiership weapon................................Oops bang goes that theory.
Good to see he is back in action as well as Modric. This guy is going placesGiovani dos Santos scored twice as we toppled Grays Athletic 5-2 in a training ground friendly on Tuesday.
So he isn't useless after all lolTwo goals in quick succession from Roman Pavlyuchenko and Gio handed us a 3-2 lea
Tottenhamhotspur.com - News Articles - Gio at the double
Gio Gio Gio !
With Roman Pavlyuchenko already out the door, I think Giovani Dos Santos would be the ideal fourth striker to have around the squad.
The cash raised by getting rid of Pav could fund areas where Spurs aren't so strong - central defence being perhaps the most urgent need at the moment, given that Bassong will be away in Africa in January and Woody and King are questionable because of their fitness.
gio is ment to be the next messi, which will def be hard to do seeming as messi is still growing as a player, but wow if he could play have as good as messi does.....love it
dont get me wrong i think gio is great but messi is out of this world
