Giovani could quit over Jonathan snub

Giovani dos Santos is considering quitting Mexico's World Cup squad following the omission of his brother Jonathan.

The players' father, Zizinho, is enraged by coach Javier Aguirre's decision not to take both of his sons to South Africa - and he now wants both of them to quit the squad permanently.

Zizinho, himself a former professional player in South America, said: "Gio is very hurt and he wants to be at home with us. He is there now and he's not well. We don't know if he will play (at the World Cup) or not. We still don't know anything.''

Jonathan is also set to quit international football over the snub - something his father completely agrees with. "Jonathan told me that he is going to quit the Mexican team and I don't want him playing for them anymore anyway,'' Zizinho added.

He has not been given a long enough run in the team for my liking, Im pretty sure he dont get on with Harry but the boy has alot of class about him. After this world cup i want to see hi given another go at Spurs with a longer run of games rather the the few he got before he was droped and shiped out.

He is still young and has alot to learn but if he continues to work at it then he is some player and one we should not pass up.

I know we cant really question Arry but it has to be said that he has not given him a chance or Tarrabt and you can see why they may be considering their options.

If they do what they are both capable of they could help make the difference especially on all the fronts we have to compete on this coming season.
