From a good percentage of neutral english fans, they all know modric is capable of doing alot on the international feild, so it's just a little bit of "paper talk" before the "big mathces".
All though being a spurs fan, it's painfull to hear that modric is injured, but hey, if we wanna break into the top etc etc, we should be able to deal with him.
TBH we have plently of MC's, Im sure Bentley, GIO, Jenas, would all love modric's spot for a couple of matches

Bit of a prickish thing to say, but you can see where they are coming from.

My first thoughts were fooooooooooooooooooook we are fooooooooooooked!!!

But then realised he wouldnt destroy us at Wemberly and England were masive favorites again I was slightly happy. That soon subsided when I realised Spurs were still boloxed.

to be fair guys if u heard that rooney, the bulgarian, vidic, foster, lampard, drogba, anelka, terry and the rest were injured before our games in a couple o weeks would u not be a bit chuffed? i know i would be (tho im not english)! these guys have no affiliation to spurs and frankly dont give a toss about us in the way we dont give a toss about chelsea or man u! i see why ur so pissed off but u gotta see it without the lilywhite tinted spectacles!
