Agree you were right to speak up for him in his early days. The lads come good.
It's a shame the fans don't get behind him big time. If we did I'm sure we would see even more from him.
He's had a good season and he is not for sale.

I dont think Arry will sell him as he has had a surge in form for sure.

I still think he needs to work on his defensive side (kinda paramount for a fullback IMO) but then apart from Woody most of our defenders do. However, when he crosses the halfway line he becomes a very different prospec indeed. He can whip a very decent ball into the box with his left peg and thats somthing we aint seen for decades at the lane. ffs even our rightfooted wide men cant cross half as good as him and that is un-arguable.

BAE to develop a bit more this term me thinks.

And yeah I absolutely drilled the lad when he first came on the scene but he was a shaddow of what he is now.

Seems to be on the same wave length as Modric. When BAE goes forward Modric will fill the gap behind. They communicate very well on the pitch.
Your right about his crosses. Should give Lennon a few lessons.

I rate BAE....talk about much improved this season! Yup! Bale did look the part, last week....and you know that he's got a goal or two in him, but I'd keep the Frenchman.....and certainly wouldn't want him to go down the road, to haunt us twice a season!!!
