He wont play again till next season I am 100% sure of that if it is his Medial Ligament.
It is the ligament that stabalises the knee joint and stops the lower part of your leg moving out to the side. If you have ever tweeked or pulled it you'd know about it big time.
too bad for DB- I, like many on this forum, don't have much use for him as a player, but he seemed to have hit a nice run of form, and he had to be feeling good about his situation after a pretty rough year.
Won't miss him on the field tbh, but I hope things work out for him from a human standpoint. From a club/business standpoint, hope its not too bad, its hard to sell damaged goods...Plus, somehow,he's our leading scorer...
I'm abit worried that he might be injured for the summer now unit and it might put off a potenial buyer! Get well soon bent
Nah berbs, this medial ligament it painfull but fully recoverable and the treatment that they get it will be like it never happened tbh.
He'll be good to go for any pre season, but will probably be give a personal pre-season schedual to address his fitness deficiencies as he would have had longer off than the rest of the squad.
Well, it does cut down our striking options....which let's be honest have been pretty limited this season. But Bent isn't the long term answer. We need a quality hitman up front....I like Pav, but he's still got it all to prove. Playing the 2 jockies up front isn't an option, so we need a new face to replace Berbs.
