You never really feel like he's giving 100% and it seems like the crowd have to get on his back before he actually closes someone down. Against Newcastle he got a massive cheer for tracking the ball the length of the pitch in the first half...but did he bother again? Not really.

He never really commits to a run either, he just seems to hover by the defenders which makes it hard for the likes of Keane and Modric to pick him out because he might run either side...
