he sounds like a top bloke.. there needs to more people like him. i think it helps if you've been raised in the area yourself and not just some unknown face on an ego trip.

kids aint got alot to do nowdays in the best of areas, nevermind in rundown estates. trouble is, people are either sh!t-scared, or apathetic towards these areas and these lads....

Never good to hear someone getting mugged, even if he does play for the goons. I suppose if your going around with bling on display you're more likely to attract that kind of attention.

Can't understand why someone needs to spend a hundred squid on a watch- do the £20 ones not tell the right time or something?

Thanks for the update anyway Charlton. Sorry to hear about your stabbing. Why anyone would want to put a knife in another person is beyond me. (I was once attacked by a drug dealer- the fella put his index and middle finger in my right eye- tried to jab it out... not pleasant.) Hope you don't have any more hassle from whoever did that to you, pal?

I stick to the area I'm in. Thankfully in the town im in, the name of my family keeps people away thanks to my family years ago it has a strong background and keeps people from bothering me, plus I know a lot of people in Ballymena... they know if someone did something to me half of where I live would be knocking on their door... not that i don't fight my own battles though. Thatsa completely different story!

I dont get bothered by gangs either.

I am an SAS trained, ex paratrooper with a black belt in Jiu-Jitsu. I have a war face that can peel paint off a door and fists the size of cannon balls.

      You fancy a fight???????

Only Kidding (as if you hadnt already guessed)

Gang culture is a cancerous cist on our already unwell cities. We can say that we feel sorry for the kids in them and that they dont have a lot to do, but neither did i when i was a kid.
I didtnt need a purpous built recreation centre to play in or government run schemes to keep me on the straight and narrow. I just behaved myself like every single civilised human being should.

I have absolutely no time for gamgs or the people in them. They complain about the area they live in as run down and forgotten about. Thats because they make it a war zone!!!

The concil built a youth centre about 8 years ago back in London where i used to live. 2 years later it was a smouldering pile of ashes!
This was caused because a certain set of lads were causing trouble and generally making it a horrible place for the kids outside of their GANG, this led to the youth workers banning them. They decided that they had been disrespected and that every one should bow to their ridiculous and offensive behavour, they then took out their own form of justice which was to burn the youth centre down. £1mil worth of damage caused in 1 night by a bunch of morons who thought they ran the roost.
They got a slap on the wrist, Community service and a nominal fine.

This is why bad areas are not invested in. The moronic minority always screw it up for the majority. I feel sorry for people who have to put up with these idiot every single day with nobody to help them.

      Broken Britain.
