Don't forget that ManU are going through an injury crisis, and won't have their best 11 out there either...

So its gonna be a reserve team game... with Harry and Sir Lord Ferg managing the B teams. We might as well go the whole way, and give Harry the day off and call up our reserve team coach as well.

Though he may not send out our best side which is understandable, rest assured harry wants to win this match. Its the FA cup ffs. The reality is though we are playin man u away so it wont be a walk in the park, with our top side or not. And anyways, just who is in our top side atm? the way our league form is at present, i dont think harry even knows, and playing some squad players may give him a chance to find out. I actually think his comments this week have bin spot on, as a playin group spurs need to seriously harden the f**k up.

I disagree, I think Harry want to loose this game and have this off of his TO DO list.

There might be an agrument that he wouldn't mind winning it with ANY of his top team, but even then I dont think he wants it.

We might still be fighting relegation in a month or 2 and thats another few FA Cup matches he could do without.

Someone in the office here said send a "HALL of FAME" team to MAnu. And I would payt to watch that, funny funny, ;-)

I think his comments since the game have come through sheer frustration, similarly to a lot of the comments made on here. As I stated in another thread, he does like to take credit when things go well and try to offload blame when they don't, he did that at Portsmouth and Southampton. I remember talking to Saints fans about it when he was managing them. However, I do think he is a good manager and have faith in him getting it right.

Well he seems to have altered the way he said what sort of team he'd be sending up. On Wed it was a very weakened side today it's

"Neverthless, the manager said he would play the strongest team available.

"We've got so many injuries it's very difficult to put out our strongest team," he said. "I will field the best available team.

we're not taking a reserve team to Old Trafford and everyone who is fit, will play,"
      Redknapp-"winning's a great habit"

i'd say the carling cup is more important than the FA cup at the moment - maybe the boys will show some pride and defend their cup (as well as their spot in europe, since that is most definitely the only way we'll be playing in europe next season).

i'm with the lot that wants to see some of the younger guns come out in this one - maybe some (like o'hara) who show some fcking pride in the shirt on their backs.

the relegation battle is going all the way down to the wire this season - there is very little separating the entire bottom half of the table right now, so winning league games HAS to be top priority.

so let's use these lower priority matches to help achieve that goal and find some who are up for the fight.

adding palacios and bringing back defoe were definitely steps - certainly not the solution of all solutions but they strengthen two areas of the team that have been mostly cover-your-eyes-awful (a few decent performances from Zokora at DM notwithstanding) all season.

harry knows how to push the right buttons, as all great managers do. many of these are not his players, and given the change in tone of his public comments as of the last few weeks i'd say old harry is long since finished coddling some of these schlepps. i have faith that he'll get the best out of them and we'll stay up by season's end.

its unfortunate, but as supporters we just have to adjust our expectations.

and as a FIFA 09 xbox player, i'd appreciate an uptick in form so i can use my beloved SPURS again because with the live season updates, they're straight garbage right now

I wouldn't be that pessimistic about our European hopes. If we can get some consistency going and play like when Harry first arrived, then we can surely reach the UEFA Cup spots. Bear in mind we're only 8 points behind Spammers who are in 8th place.

Because its a game that really means nothing. There will be no pressure to perform. And no frustrations and bent out emotions from the fans. We also get to see what some of the young guns can do. I am dieing to see how gio is going to be aswell as if bostock is ready for the PL yet. Its gonna be nice to chill out and enjoy the game the risk of ruining my day if we lose.
I couldn't have put it better myself buddy. I think this is a great opportunity to see what the lads can do and who knows, Arry might be finished with transfer business if everything went well. I am definately excited about tonight,
