Pretty normal behavior when your that age , i think when i was that age i was totally diverted away from football for a bit whilst sowing some wild oats . She tried to stop me going back to football , and wondered why we ended up breaking up . I guess its our way we cant help it . Thats football for you .

Ever hear of a motocross biker called Dave Vickers?
When I was very young he was always on BBC's Grandstand early Saturday afternoon and I always remember the commentator of the time (Murray Walker?) referring to him as 'Tottenham's Dave Vickers'. Then, a few hours later I'd be watching the tele-printer (OK, you have to be of a certain age!) and I'd hear the score for 'Tottenham Hotspur'. My childish mind put the two together and lo! I've been a Spurs fan ever since. They won the double that year and Dave Vickers became 250cc champion so I started off by backing winners!
I blame the telly for my glorious affliction!

Im also a follower of hearts fc up here in scotland, and both clubs have been passed down to me from my old man! My dad grew up idolising Dave Mackay, and when he switched from hearts to spurs my dad followed him (thankfully he fell in love with spurs too or i could have ended up a derby fan!!!.
I remember playing a bit of one on one footy with my dad when i was a wee lad, i went hearts and he said "well i'll go spurs then" . . . . . i was in love from there! As a player I was left footed and my all time favourite player was Ginola!!!! and thats my spurs story!!

my oldest brother was born over there and dad wanted him to be a spurs fan,so its really a family thing.
