I don't hate City, I do hate the way they are throwing their financial muscle around. They seem to be buying just about anyone almost, it seems, just to stop other teams getting them. Whoever saw Bellamy and Kaka as a potential striking partnership????
If you can keep your head when all around you are losing theirs and blaming it on you ... you probably haven't a clue what's going on!

well for all the discussion of kaka and the like it seems supporter power has won the day in milan !!! robinho has been left looking like a complete numpty and has walked out on man city and mark hughes will be looking over his shoulder more now than ever .

mancester city are not world beaters and i for one am glad kaka turned them down !!! the rich oil tycoon has learned a very valuable lesson , in money cannot buy you footballing respect !!! this has be earned through hard work and results , if mourinho / sholari / cappelo or a high profile manager was nat the helm in eastlands they would have a much better chance of landing quality players .

      Just found this little nugget.

      Football Transfer Rumours Football News

Man City rumour is just below Hearts rumour.
Ive only just managed to stop myself laughing.

They do say that the way to tell a Man City supporter from a Man U one is that the City supporter lives in Manchester.

Apparently, according to the Guardian, Kaka was not the only sensational deal Sh*teh Citeh tried for this month. They claim they also bid £100m for Villa & Silva from Valencia but the Spaniards wanted £135m, they went for Buffon also but Juve asked for £100m & even opened talks with Barca over Henry & Toure. They offered a combined £50m for the pair of them, £25m for the 31 year old ex-gooner (despite Hughes, apparently, not even really wanting him) & £25 for Yaya (gooner Kolo's brother). Neither player agreed to the move.

Poor old City, their plans for world domination will have to be put on hold.

Manchester City tried to sign David Villa, Thierry Henry and Gianluigi Buffon before their failed attempt to capture Kaka from Milan | Football | guardian.co.uk
      Jan Vertonghen!
      Vertonghen is his name!
      Spurs will never ever-ever,!
      lose again!
