We have had a dramatic turn in fortune over the last couple of years, but to be talking about mid table mediocrity next season kills me. Its a fair point but this would of been unthinkable 2 years ago. We must once and for all get some stability to our squad instead of the transfer merry go round every time a window opens. How is it that so many players that helped us to consecutive top 5 finishes were deemed surplus to requirements?...players like Tainio (well underated), Malbranque, Robinson, Defoe & Chimbonda...not to mention the BIG 3 we lost (Carrick, Keane & Berbatov). For once we must start a season without having to wait for the players to 'gel'. Let Harry buy the players he wants in the summer and get rid of the little bit of dead wood we have and finally get a strong squad (that means keeping players like Jenas, Bentley, Bent and all the others Spurs 'fans' seem to want out of our club..you know, cause we are too good for them) and start performing on a consistant basis and maybe then we can get that elusive Champions League place once and for all..its all about steady growth and keeping a settled side and only adding quality to our team..look at Everton, they finished fourth and showed that you dont need to spend huge amounts on players to achieve it, you need a touch of class but also need the hard working players to do the graft too, players that dont get all the attention but do an important job. We Spurs fans always have an annoying habit of dismissing people as not 'Spurs players' and are quick to reject the notion of buying them..players like Stephen Hunt for Reading. When it was in the papers that we were interested in him I was dismayed to hear Spurs fans saying he had no right to be at the club!. In my opinion, I think he would be a great little signing and would add guile, bite and some old fashioned hard work to our midfield, like I said, you need some players to do the leg work sometimes and players like him fit the bill but is he a 'Spurs player'..maybe people disagree with me on Hunt but youy get my general drift about 'Spurs players'...sorry this rant has been so long, this season has been a nightmare for us all....COME..ON..YOU..SPURS!

P.S. As a Spurs fan, I would never..EVER contemplate what our first 11 would be if we were relegated...shame on you!

where will we be next season? unless we man up for the next 12 games, solve our scoring problems and find something big and strong to stick in midfield....

were just not going to go down once we beat stoke and bolton we will be settled in mid table and who knows maybe even to push on and finish in the top half a cup final to look forward to unless we are seriously sh*t at burnley.
We showed yesterday that we are creating chances and on another day we would of scored 3 maybe 4 once we start getting the luck we will climb the table and this silly talk of relegation will be forgotten
