Look , hughes is gonna soak it up as long as they are winning , he's no different from mourinho in that matter . They will only sack him if they find that he's not capeable of dealing with world class players . That usually comes on the back of a losing run , not a winning one . So he will sit tight and spend money until it goes sour , which i dont think it will . If it was tony adams i would be cringeing but i liked sparky as a player so lets see how it goes .
Even though the fee is still obscene if Kaka does go to Madrid at least it would be for the right reasons i.e. football. I know he`d still be well paid at Madrid but even they can`t pay him what City would so you sort of know at least Kaka went to Madrid for what he believed was the better footballing option.
if hes to do anything for "the right reasons" he should stay at Milan. I
foghorn leggy (18-01-2009)
If he dont go to City he will stan at Milan. Prety sure of that.
However can you realistically see him turning down half a million a week. Nah!!!
He wants to stay at Milan but Milan want to sell him because they can't refuse that sort of money, However, City is not the right place for him. For that money he will be too big for the club. They will do everything just to keep him happy & he will be more important than the manager. At Madrid, they have a long history of such big players & they will be able to get the best out of him.
Jan Vertonghen!
Vertonghen is his name!
Spurs will never ever-ever,!
lose again!
COYSAFOYS
im sorry but can anyone see the sense in this:
107 million quid striker kaka.
playing up front with craig bellamy!?
i mean for goodness sake. i think man city are buying for the sheer fact of stopping other clubs getting any players or perhaps they just have no idea what theyre doing. like a spoilt posh kid in a disco they just seem to be trying to fit in with the big boys which they aint. with the money they have they could raid the worlds best as theyve shown why do they care to buy a player of bellamy quality? i mean hes okay but he isnt exactly ronaldo is he?. its quite frankly pathetic and i hope that kaka goes to real madrid, it will prove that football has some common sense in it left because as basskadet said above: man city is not the place for arguably the worlds best player. and the sooner a wage cap and transfer cap comes into football the better because its gone widely out of hand in a january transfer market of all things. its not even the summer wheelings and dealings yet.
"It's about getting the best out of the lads and confidence. Life is about confidence. Whatever you do in life, if you are not confident you don't perform. It's up to me to get the confidence running through the players and if I can get that instilled you'll see a team that will really play." - Harry Redknapp - 29/10/2008
Man City are doing what the Old Firm (Celtic and Rangers) have done in Scotland for years. Buy your opponents best players, not cos you want them just cos it stops them playing against you! There is no other conclusion to a proposed Kaka Bellamy partnership.
I am really beginning to hate City!!![]()
If you can keep your head when all around you are losing theirs and blaming it on you ... you probably haven't a clue what's going on!
Kaka turns down City rumour has it the signing of Bellamy clinched itwell done Kaka money isn`t everything
![]()
bet he still goes there in the summer though but thank god common sense has pervailed for the meantime dont think bellamy is going to get the reception kaka would have do you guys
He can teach em how to play golf apparently
haha your right kev hes lethal with a 9 iron by all accounts im so happy we didnt sign seen alot of him in the flesh when he played for celtic and he never stopped bleeding moaning at his own players thinking hes billy big balls all the time
This keeps getting better and ****ing better:

Kaka's £100m transfer to Manchester City collapsed and star striker Robinho walked out of the training camp in Spain as the club were facing a crisis last night.
Kaka's camp were critical of City's negotiating tactics after a meeting broke up with no financial offer placed in front of the AC Milan midfielder.
'We thought they were serious,' one insider said last night. 'However, they acted as if this was just a game. We are sure the owner will not be impressed when he learns of this development.' City denied the claims from Italy.
Was reported on SSN , sorry for the vagueness but if you switch on SSN they were reporting it earlier and still might be . He felt he was being taken for a ride and was unhappy with how they dealt with the Kaka deal and has got a plane home (To Brazil) .
lovely. its interesting how city thought this might come off. when it comes down to it, it seems like real life isnt QUITE like an edited football manager..
FOOTBALL IS ALIVE AND WELL!!!!!!
