The press in this country are a nightmare, pushing for Ramos to get the sack so that they can go on again about how many managers we have had during Wengers spell at the Arse. Lets all laugh at Spurs, again!! Although everyone is already laughing, we have to stick with it and hopefully Ramos will turn it round. I know at the moment it is hard to believe, but a few wins and a bit of confidence can change all that.
Great post and at the end of the day we all want whats best for our club but how long do we give it before Ramos gets it right ? I must admit the worst thing is the well disguised p*** taking in the press now that really is hard to take anyway stuff em come on the lads for tomorrow

Thanks for all your replies. I thought that after some good finishes and results we finally had a bit of stability - couldn't believe when I heard that Spurs top brass had been seen in Spain courting Ramos. That compounded our bad start to the season last year, same as the Berbatoss saga did this year.

Agree we need stability, but how long do we give JR?

      The answer is this.

Jol was not doing well after six games of a new season, after doing a brilliant job in the previous seasons, so Levy sacks him. Was a knee jerk reaction and the treatment was despicable. He didn't even give him full control of the club, and then went and sacked him for a job Levy had largely done himself. Pathetic really.

      Tores you are partially right...

The worm had already settled in the apple before the season started.

Joll wanted certain names in and certqain ones out. Camoli decided he didnt think Joll was right or didnt have the minerals to get the right players so got his own halfbreed versions that were all completely useless. When Joll said enough is enough Camoli *****ed to Levy about it and Levy took his pals side and the witch hunt on Joll started. 6 games in was their reason to act out their ritual dunking of the witch.

The witch is now top of the Bundasleiga.......... You sacked the wrong one Levy and is your only big fook up to date.

levy tapped up ramos before the season even started....this got to the players who were then distracted and like the rest of us hadnt a clue wat was goin on.....the bad start to the season just gave levy the excuse he wanted to get rid of big marty and the rest is history! once he lost the backing of certain players especially that bulgarian twat( having to be told to warm up 3 times before actually getting of his arse) everything just played into levys hands! anyone who says mj was looking at other jobs pre season just needs to remind hiimself of the pure devastation and sadness on his face on that fateful night against getafe! the big man woulds be there for years to come had he been left alone to do his job!

Was the Berbatov saga not one great big mess for you as well? As far as I'm aware, that was down to Levy as well...

      Not entirely, no.

Levy did his job extreemly well by holding out for a rediculous ammount of money for a talented but lazy individual. We could have accepted lower offers from other clubsearlier but he played enough hard ball to squeeze almost another 6 or so million out of the deal. That, as good as paid for Corluka (wich looks like too much right now).

The problem was that Camoli hadnt lined up or ironed out the details on the posible replacements and was well out of his depth and didnt have the minerals to come clean about his failings.

Look at it this way. Its Camoli's job yeah?

So we all knew (or at least had a incling) that Berba was on his toes, probably to Manc Utd but also posibly abroard. So, as the man who's job it is to buy/source players I would have been working behind the scenes to get loads and loads of options and posibilities on the table.

You would immagine 3 firm and 2/3 more posibilities of a decent/reasonable calibre.

Now with those names firmly in the frame the news that Keano wants to defect to your clan should not be that bigga deal as you have a posibility of up to 6 names in the frame already for Berbs position.

So the question should be why doesnt Levy deal with the real problem that is Camoli. I can only think that these two are thick as theives and they have respective dirt on one another so they continually back one another and get away by letting the sh!t slide down hill.
