Good Afternoon, not sure about Klinsmann, he is coming
under pressure at Bayern now. Could be available soon...

I think Gus would be alright actually, look what happened to Leeds once he left and Wise was on his own, obvious he has a great impact, but not sure why he's not had the same impact on spurs unless the set up is wrong with the backroom staff and he's not allowed as much influence.
I'd be happy with Klinsman aswell though, not had a load of managerial experience but did well with Germany.
At least they both have knowledge on the EPL and can speak English well, unlike Ramos. Still don't understand why we got rid of Jol who was prob the best manager we had in 10 years, but thats done with now

I agree that Rambo should go... But whoever suggested Venables must be on crack.
They guy is a crook who almost flushed Spurs down the can. We made very little league progress under his guidance.
Similarly, I'm not buying into the whole Gus thing. If you make a change, it needs to be a complete change, and as for Klinsmann, if you can't do it with Bayern in the Bundesliga, you ain't gonna do it with Spurs in the Premier League.
We need a miracle to take us back into the big time.
If you looked at what has happened to the club since Jol left, do you really want another manager gone and the situation to get worse next season, or what? Sacking Jol was a mistake and I think most of you realize that now, but just think forward a bit. Who's going to come to Spurs if you sack Ramos and who that would come in is realistically better? I know that it's all so easy for me to say these things as a neutral, but try to see where I'm coming from...

Failing football clubs sack managers and have always done so in the modern era. Every manager going into a job, whoever it may be knows, that should they fail, they will be sacked.
I don't think anyone will be put off by joining Spurs because they fear that should things go wrong they'll be sacked. Any manager who thinks like that is not welcome.

I was gutted when Martin Jol was sacked because I really love the big guy. He led us to two 5th places in a row. If that's not consistency then I don't know what is. So I never really understood why we needed Ramos. But Levy fell in love with him for some reason. Sure, I had expectations and it really is weird to be unhappy with a manager who won a trophy just seven months ago. But his league form is a mess. We have played 24 Premier League matches in 2008 and only won 5 of them. That is simply not good enough.
But is he really under pressure? Considering what Levy did to get him I seriously doubt it. But maybe that will change if Krakow beats us and if we get anything but a win against Hull on sunday.
But no matter what happens in the next two games my opinion is that Ramos must go. Sooner rather than later.
I really feel that Alan Curbishley would be an interesting choice as new manager. I would like a british manager and he has proven himself at clubs with considerably less financial means. Of course there's no way he would work under a guy like Comolli so he would have to go too. I just don't think that's realistic. Unfortunately.

If they joined Spurs they would be expected to perform better than Ramos.
Peice of P!ss IMO!!! win a game and you will be the next Special one!!!
Can't see that as an even remote possibility. What was the reason Curbs left the Irons again?
Frikkin' Comolli is a total muppet. The first rule of having a football director is somebody who knows what he's doing. Can't see any evidence to suggest that Comolli does. Second rule is that the director picks the manager thereby ensuring a good working relationship. That's what works on the continent - that's what worked for the brief period we had Arnesen and Jol in charge. Hasn't worked before, nor since.
I suspect the British/English system simply can't tolerate it, in which case, we should sack it right off.
Leaving that aside, I can't even work out who I would rather have in charge. Put a core group of supporters in charge. Even management by committee would be better than where we are now.
Roy Keane anyone????
He says he has a "soft spot" for spurs!!
Roy Keane could certinly scare the players into playing good :L:L:L
Apparently this fella is out of work at the minute
Gotta be worth a punt??????
