think we will have our heads higher than pompy in the next game. but expect a similar standard of play! neither side will want to lose, neither side will want to make any mistakes. it wont be pretty, but weve got something to work from now.
have you ever seen anyone celebrate a goal in the carling cup 3rd round (when your already ahead) like ohara did! shows some passion. lennon was having lumps kicked out of him all over the park, GDS looked good as soon as he came on, just needs to pass once hes got past a few players (very promosing though), woody looked solid and did will to clear duffs shot, king was solid again, gomes is imense, bale had a decent game. its not the finished product, far from it, but things are getting better

we were crap in the first half but our defense looked pretty good today and Corluka gave a better account of his skills as I thought he was a solid defender today when GDS came on we looked dangerous and he was great also Lennon was good and I think he should be our left sided player quite possibly didn't he set up the Pavyluchenko goal? I think he did and he has no doubt stepped it up

From what I read Lennon made a decent cross for the Pav goal!?! Maybe someone explained crossing the ball to him and he understands now the point is to hit it to a striker not a fan in the stands!

A wins a win and hopefully the start of something, chuffed to bits Pav scored but overall i still dont think Ramos knows his best 11. Pav took his goal well and came to life when Gio came on, what was wrong with Bale he looked 2 yards off the pace all night? Woody had a good game and Gomez did well. Corluka has gone up in my estimations. Modric was poor when he came on. Looking forward(pompey) i'd keep o'hara in the middle with Jenas, lennon on the left and Bentley on the right, Bent and Pav up top. Gio, Modric on the bench.
things are getting better we are making progress,pav got his first goal now i think this is a sign of things to come from the big russian. yhis will be the turn around. also remember bent has 3 goals in the last 3 games he played in thats not a bad turnaround if you ask me. the team is slowly gelling together. all we need now is modric to get up to speed and b4 u no it that 4th spot will be in our sights along with another cup. I may seem a lil optimistic but the signs are there we need to find a rythm
Its time we earmarked a classy centre half for the January window because ledley king is not the player he was, even when fit. He's started to make uncharacteristic mistakes and we cannot afford a player who can only play 1 out of 3 or 4 games a month.
Loved Robbo but the Big Guy is awsome.
