Dunno though google always helps

NO, you'll need a DVI - DVI/HDMI. Check what inputs your plasma has. Depending on how old your computer is you should have a DVI port. That sends out the same digital video signal as HDMI. However, unlike HDMI, you get no sound over DVI so you'll need to run a separate audio lead from your computer's audio output.

Your Plasma might also have a VGA port which most have in the last couple of years until recently, it looks like the port that you plug you monitor into, I use a cable from my laptop VGA external port to my Plasmas VGA port, works a treat .![]()

I use this website (as well as Justin TV mentioned earlier in the thread) to watch most live sports. Free and usually a decent quality

It is better to fail aiming high than to succeed aiming low. And we of Spurs have set our sights very high, so high in fact that even failure will have in it an echo of glory
i use svga lead to connect my desktop to my tv with a switch box to swap between tv and monitor. go to start/control panel/display/settings then change the screen resolution to the same as the tv then goto advanced then monitor and make sure the hertz is the same as the tv then apply, connecy lead to pc and tv, select pc channel and watch spurs beat boro on the big screen.
i assume its the same process with laptop.
hope this helps. it took me days to sort mine out
go to myp2p.football. download TVANTZ or PPMATE.

Ports on the telly or on the computer? Anyway, the red & white are audio & the yellow is video. If they are on your telly then they are analogue RCA inputs & won't be much use to you.
Riverwire is correct, you might have a VGA port instead of a DVI. DVI is newer, digital technology but older Plasmas & computers used VGA. If your computer should have VGA & the telly DVI its not a problem. You can get VGA-DVI converters from any shop.
Basically, the red & white sockets you mentioned is where you run your audio. Just run a normal audio lead (one you'd use to wire up a hi-fi. Either a Phono to Phono or , more likely, mini-jack to phono. The phono plugs are coloured red & white also) from your computers audio out (headphone socket) to the telly's audio in.
For the video your best bet is to figure out what monitor ports you have available to you & go down Dixons and ask for the leads.
DVI kind of looks like the left hand image While VGA looks like the one on the right:
