I'm quite concerned with VDV's injury. Last season was blamed on his poor pre-season with Real. Then what about now? The guy just seems so injury prone FFS.

Any length of absence given?
Just seen Sandro's twitter and he said he has started running again. Great news for us. Maybe he could be on the bench for the wolves games!
Yes i know but as i said bench not starting. 3 weeks of running by the wolves game arrives.
Its hard for our injured players to actually get match fit as we have no reserve team.
Forgive me, I wasnt aware that we play them on Sept 10.....thought it was this coming weekend.
Our injured players normally play in Spurs XI games set up by the club to get some fitness under them before returning to the first team, I expect this to happen with Sandro when he's nearing full fitness.

VDV, Lennon, Gallas, Huddlestone, Pienaar all on the comeback trail. Need as many as we can get as we only have one day between l'pool and stoke!!
Gallas won't be ready for Liverpool unfortunately as he hasn't played a single game all season...but what a massive boost it'd be if we could get him back in the next week or so.
So crucial given the fact that Dawson is out for 2 months, and that you're always walking on a tightrope with Ledley King.
didnt realise it was only a 1 day gap? is that right? if so thats bleedin crazy and we will have to manage the squad very very well to avoid more injuries. I'd bring and the players that are returning from injury a game at stoke (although it WILL be physical) and mix them with players that are on the bench this weekend if that makes sense. So i'd expect Thudd, Gallas,VDV or lennon, Pienaar, Niko to all play against stoke along with likely subs on sunday like walker, bassong, rose? just to get everyone up to speed.
Wouldn't they field the same level of players? I mean, they had a match in Kiev, Ukraine on Thursday, one again Sunday, and then another in 2 days. Same exact as ours, I don't see them fielding any regular starters. And if our youngsters were/are match fit, we would smash them. If Rose is fit, imagine him with Pav, Gio, Townsend... I can't see us losing so easily as you're saying. In fact, I have high hopes.
If it's a tie, would it go to ET and Pens? I hope so, we don't need another crappy match in our heavy schedule.
