Thread: So, who's still after 'Arry's 'ead?

If Harry is so terrible with the players why did Modric and Bale, arguably our best players, sign new contracts with us with interest coming in from the biggest clubs around?

I can just imagine what went through their heads: "Hmmm, some of the biggest clubs in Europe are interested in me. I could have a pay rise and win trophies. And I really hate Harry, he's so horrible to me so I think I'll stay here for another 4 years for less money".
Unlikely eh?
The players don't hate Harry for the way he treats them so nobody else has a reason to hate him for that reason.

Also, Harry is an excellent man manager. This means he knows how to read people and to interact with them. He knows how to fire them up and motivate them. And each player is different. Some will respond to shouting while others will wilt. Some respond to a kick up the arse and others require sitting down and talking to. It's why Harry is a great man manager and a good part of the reason why our star players want to play for him.

So, for me, how he treats players is totally irrelevant as is proven by the players themselves.
