Good Evening, one of those games where I would
have been happy with a point at the start. Then at
the final whistle, left feeling robbed, and fed up with
just one point. Missed chances cost us, although
generally I am happy.
No Ledley again, hope he is withdrawn from the
England Squad.
Must admit, I am warming quickly to Woodgate, two
bookings in two games though...
Next week is away at Derby, hopefully get to see a bit
of Bent, if he is fit. Especially if we can put the game to
bed early...
got to say i thought we have been very hard done by in the last 2 man u games, after watching spurs today it makes you wonder if we will ever beat them. so close today, so unlucky. One things for sure we are getting better by the game. Woodgate and hutton were excellent today they have setteld very quickly so far. Dawson had a very good game aswell apart from the O.G!

Fair point. Ronaldo was in the game a lot more yesterday. Still difficult to fathom how quickly he can shift the ball between his feet! Didn't really hurt us like he has the potential to do though.Originally Posted by P UNIT 1980
Delighted with the overall performance yesterday. As I said in the match report, its a defensive performance the likes of which we haven't seen for years. Maybe decades! Hutton settled in very well. Good balance of aggression in defence and making progress up the pitch. Could even have had a pen.
Must win at Derby next week. Just have to. Got to get over the usual Spurs tendency of playing brilliantly against a decent side, then letting standards slip against the so-called lesser teams. I have a week off though, so no match report next time out. :6:
Very disappointing result considering what happened at the end but I would have took a draw before the game started to be honest. Signs of more improvement as each game goes by, more importantly in defence.
