What is the point of Peter (Rodney Trotter) Crouch?

If he was 5ft 11, he wouldn't even get in a sunday local pub team, let alone any team in the football league.

He his an embarassment to our club, and Pompey must have been laughing their socks off at him yesterday.

And do we like the style of football by lumping it upto him, its totally awful and so predictable.

And for all those who thought Crouch had a good game yesterday, you must have been watching a total different game to me, but of course that is just my opinion.

Crouchy played very well ..was unlucky not of had 2 goals at least.
He was the only forward who posed a threat cos pava & defoe were missing in action.And he also got stuck in to some tackes which pava doesnt do.

The trouble is good game or bad game Crouch simply does not score !

Bigdub, there was 16 of us on a mini-bus from Yorkshire yesterday as there is week in week out, and normally after each and every game we always have debates about the game and normally all opions are divided, but yesterday not one of us had any praise or anything positive to say about him, which is very unusual, so it just wasn't my opinion, but all other Spurs fans around us in Wembley were of the same opinion, so maybe you're in the minority that thought that Crouch had a top game, cause we certainly didn't.

And he scored. No other Spurs player did.

Yes that's true. Since signing Crouch we've resorted to long balls far too much.

As for Crouch well hes become very one dimensional with most teams knowing how to cope with him, for me he doesnt warrant a first team start, more of an impact player with Pav starting with Defoe.

I thought he was poor yesterday but most of em were.
