Hmm Europa League Champions or Out in the CL Group stages....???

A trophy is a trophy so if it's the Europa League WIN or a CL LOSERS then it has to be the Europa League.

If it's 'up for grabs' then CL every time ......

My biggest fear is finishing 4th this year but then dropping to 7th next season (or the likes).

I dont expect us to finish 4th every year, but to be in that 3rd to 6th fight every season is what I want... 4th, 4th, 6th, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 3rd, 4th... I would love that. Plus an FA cup win here and there and a Europe LEague Cup win with a home semi against Barca in the Champions League at some stage aswell!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I need to go sit down to calm myself now.

In 10 years no one is going to remember being 4th place in a group for Champs league. just as no one remembers who finished 3rd 10 years ago in the EPL. however i'm sure most of you know who won the FA cup 10 years ago eh? Trophy over showing up everyday of the week and twice on sunday!

I know who won it 9 years ago.

Football's changed. If we want this club to compete then we need a foot in the door. Champions League, any day.

An FA cup will be an incredible day out, we'll give the Gooners some banter for winning nothing again, we'll defend it next year and mess it up, we'll wade our way through Europe's lesser competition, get tired, mess it up against Fiorentina or someone, finish 6th again.

Champion's League's a potential game-changer. Foot in the door, get better quality players in, loosen the wage cap a bit, get everything ready for our new stadium, revenues shoot up, retain Modric, Lennon, Palacios, Bale.

It's a no brainer. Less trophies now for more trophies later, please.

if we make the champions league i think we will do good because more good players will come once they see how good lennon and defoe are at the world cup. the world will also remember the skill of modric and pavlyuchenko at euro 08, and hopefully gomes will go with brazil to the world cup so it will be nice publicity
