I don't see it happening. He's top class and essential to Everton. Unless Landy Cakes Donovan makes a switch to Everton, its unlike that he'll leave and let a lone to a rival.

Would definately take Pienaar, as I've said the past few days you need a far bigger midfield than what we have atm to be competing in all competitions and to stay clear of injuries and leaving the team thin.
Only thing I can see about this is that Harry would only try for him is if we make fourth place and get him on the phone. He would likely come if we were in the Champions League and we are really in need of some width on the left ... since Bale has came into form its a bloody blessing because we are finally using the left hand side of the damn pitch at WHL... before we might as have sold it!

There is now doubt that Pienaar is a very good player and South Africa are expecting miracles from him at the World Cup............he is SA,s only real class player.
I understand from news this side Bayern Munich have also shown interest in him and are prepared to offer 15 million for him.
I can't see Everton selling him to Spurs or Chelsea and are trying to keep him with an improved package.
I pressume it will be up to Steven to decide as he only has a year left on his contract and is not exactly a teenager. It would probably be his final move.
tarrabt can fook off. I'm going to stick my neck out for van der vaart again. We still don't really have a ACM/playmaker, just modric and krancjar drifting in from the wings. That, a healthy young CB willing to be backup and a prolific target man.
everton always buy jenas from me on FM and Master League on PES. It must be a sign of a swap deal.........

I don't really see him offering much to our team for a hefty valuation. We would have to pay over the odds as rivals, and I would say he has just had his best season. I still feel he gets caught in possession too often, and lacks real wing play. For me he is Kranjcar with a lower centre of gravity, I don't really see the point. If we are going to buy a winger, then buy a winger.
Rumors or our interest in him are showing up again. If we are, I think it really comes down to what Pienaar wants... with only one year left on his current deal if he refuses to resign then they might be willing to sell him.
Tottenham boss Redknapp targets Everton midfielder Pienaar - IMScouting
Gd player but we need to be focusing on ova areas tbh.
"Modric could play in any team in the world in my opinion, he's a fantastic footballer, top, top class."
Quality than quantity. Rather buy only Dzeko fore instance then spend cash od 2-3 players like Pienar who isn't a step forvard for our first team.
i think hes top class his a winger and a cental mid jus like modric so that we be good even as an attackin mid 2 ..but i dont think everton will let him go
Top top player imo but not to sure where he would fit in but i do see Modric playing more of a central role next season.
Id defo take him as he really is quality imo....
My favourite spurs player!
I think our MD with Modric,Hudd,Wilson,Lennon,Kranjcar,Bentley is more than good and we don"t need him, better to buy some world class striker and that could happen if we finish 4th...
Do or Die !
To my mind it's not that Gio isn't prem material as much as he's struggling in a 4-4-2 formation the same way Berbatov's struggling in a 4-5-1; He just doesn't fit as part of a 2 man attack or a 4 man midfield. Give him a free role on either wing, with a similar type on the other (Lennon for instance) and in front of a solid 3 man midfield, and he'd be good enough in the EPL too, but since that seems highly unlikely given 'Arry's tactical preferences I can't see him having much of a future at The Lane. Sorry to say really, I'd have loved to see him flourish here, I rate him (potentially)very highly, and I think someone like Benitez does too. How 'bout a swap for Kuyt anyone?![]()
Take car. Go to Mum's. Kill Phil - "Sorry." - grab Liz, go to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all of this to blow over. How's that for a slice of fried gold?
Oh, and as for Pienaar; Meh...
Sure, why not, but not for silly money. I think he's a reasonably versatile right footed player, akin to Modric both in stature and play, but I really think we need to focus on a class DM instead.
