I no how they can save a few quid give us Jamie back even he can't save ya now lol
well its better this than them going down under and handing liverpool another 3 points back in the top 4 hunt
the fans dont deserve the sh1te thats went on at the club over the past 18 months and this is just another of a long line of kicks in the cobblers for them
also, how is this helping the creditors, with almost certain relegation to the championship now they will lose TV and gate money, main suppliers of money into the club, at least with no 9 point deduction they still had a slim chance of survival

i agree i dont see why the club and there fans have to get punished for some a------es f---kup they should be punished with banning from buying any other clubs for at least 10 years or any other buiness i feel sorry for pompey thats them out of the prem they will never get them nine points back at this stage of the season
Lets say Pompey didn't buy players they couldn't afford last season. Spending money on players and wages that they didn't have to spend. Lets say those players won them 9 points last season. This is how the bottom of the table would have finished:
14 Blackburn Rovers 41
15 Sunderland 36
16 Hull City 35
17 Newcastle United 34
18 Portsmouth 32
19 Middlesbrough 32
20 West Bromwich Albion 32
Newcastle would be in the EPL this season. We go on about poor old Pompey, but what about poor old Newcastle? They've lost millions, tv rights etc etc
But Newcastle didn't spend millions, risking administration. They went down last season and Pompey finished 14th.
Something needs to be done to stop directors/chairmen/owners spending millions and putting a club into administration over a few points.
If Pompey hadn't of bought those players and had gone down last season, they probably wouldn't be in this position now.
The greed of points = money got them in this position.
I feel sorry for the fans, they have no say over what happens!
Well this should be an important lessons on clubs spending well above there means as this will always happen in the end unless a very rich owner bails them out and takes a massive loss.
Its a shame to see but it was inevitable.
Feel a little gutted for Pomey seeing as I have a few mate's that support them. Also I think it's 99% certain to say the they are down now.
