I don't rate Mascherano at all as everyone does.. he is small fella and aggressive, often gets cards and is not that influental as people think he is.

If he would be that good, Liverpool wouldn't concede so many goals.
I'd take Palacious over him and he couldn't play instead of Hudd cause then no one from central midfield could launch great passes.

Sorry my friend but this is delusional ^^^^.

Mascerano is one of the most effective DMs in the world.

I would have him in my side every fookin time.

Look at some of the stats posted earlier on in this thread. Its proof that he is the best in the league.

What I mean is, if you have good CMs , there is no need for DM.. that's my football philosophy.
I watched alot of italian league, think Cambiasso is better than Mascherano.

Anyway, I wouldn't use any of them in my elite team.. with good tehnical midfield with perfect passes and solid defending skills, there is no need for game breakers like Mascherano and other similar players.

I agree but if your CBs are weak or need a bit of protection from a very effective attacking opposition they are more than handy.

You have to ask how many attacks do they actually initiate by winning the ball.

So their attacking prowess cant be under estimated imo.
