I don't know about Brown and McGeady, but you're absolutely right about Keano's demeanor on the pitch- he's always sorta been that way, but when you're wearing the armband, you've got to be a little more mature than that. Sometimes I think he takes himself out of games by looking for calls that ain't coming...Like others have said, my biggest concern for him has been his getting caught in possession and poor first touch- the effort has been there, but something isn't clicking with him.

That said, his partnership with Defoe causes major problems for defenses, as both are very active strikers that are hard to track in the attacking third. And ultimately they've been pretty productive- the biggest problem right now is not that Keano's been terrible but that our best striker stomped on a guy two weeks ago. I've always been one for giving Pav a go, but I'm not sure he'll work particularly well with Crouch. I think we'd be totally committed to hoofing it up in the area with those two.

Well going on last nights performance i think Pav will find it hard to break into the team . Pav had plenty of chances and fluffed the lot of em . His confidence is so low ATM but you run the risk if you play him to boost his confidence . I said to my dad at the game ( after he pointed out Pav's low confidence ) this was his chance to prove to Harry that he is still a class act . Instead of playing as a striker he got too involved in the middle of the park - so by the time it was time for the business they knew his moves and cancelled him out . But he did have 4 great opportunities and he blew them .

Since he returned he has not been the same guy that we were all so dissapointed to see leave.

Last season he was extremely dissapointing on his return to WHL and all sorts of excuses were made for his sad performances.

This season there should have been no excuses as he has had time to get over his liverpool fiasco and adjust to any new Spurs players, but IMO he just isn't cutting the mustard, he is a shadow of his former self and should not be wearing the Captains armband as he is totally uninspirational.
Unless he improves dramatically, I think it is time he moved to another club. The memories of Keano a few years ago, are just that..........memories. They wont win us games.
