OK, I appreciate that paperwork has to be 'ratified'. But, surely Spurs will know whether or not the paperwork they submitted was a) in order and b) on time. Are clubs not allowed to announce, until the paperwork is 'ratified'?

Spurs won't announce untill everything is official, regardless of how far down the line we are, if anything went wrong after we had announced it we'd be a laughing stock. Maybe we sti need to agree personal terms or it's subject to a medical. Who knows what's going down, it did come a bit out of the blue.
yeah but he has never proven himself at madrid. he played for hamburg before that, so thats not quite an argument. he is motorically nowhere near modders, and his passing is not better, his shooting may only be better than modric's but on the other hand i say he aint got modrics playmaker skills.
