i dont think he does necessarily have to become physical, just physical enough to handle the EPL in that central position, Pirlo argubly best player in that sort of role collects in cleanly when he needs to, Hudd could be the Barry we needed alongside Pal if he ups his workrate, if he was box-to-box hed have secured 1st team footy by now, his stature is a curse.

An overhyped player who has delivered very little except frustration in the stands, the guy is a myth plain and simple and it seems alot of you have been sucked into it.
He can pass a decent ball i give him that but come off it he has nothing else to give, slow and doesnt have a ounce of aggression in his large frame to knock players out of the way.
The amount of games ive watched where he has totally gone missing where he should be stamping his authority on the match ffs.
We cant keep players because they "may" come good, the boy has been here 5 years iirc and still hasnt nailed a first team spot down that screams volumes to me, i dont rate him what so ever but you can prob guess that.
We need toget the idle players out of the club and the buck stops with him along with Jenas,Bent and Bentley ect...

i think this is where our English style lacks. it seems that we praise players who seem to work tirelessly and who are physical, but then with players who are skillful or a little more creative, we're very quick to judge them. (ie, the hudd, bale even though hes not english and before last season lennon to an extent.)

when he came to us he was 17. i agree with you that now, he should be giving harry a selection problem, and is very inconsistent, but to say he is a myth i dont agree with as i feel its there.......just need to know how to get it out of him every week.

No mate he should smash people up in the air after sprinting 70 yards to get there and THEN drill a pin point pass 60 yards to feet. He should then sprint another 80 yards to get the return ball and smash it into the net taking the keeper with it.

Only then can he celebrate infront of the Loyal yids kissing the badge.
