I <3 Hudd but if he's not going to get minutes here, he deserves to get them somewhere.

Unlucky as ****, one of the most technically gifted and underrated players in the league. I thought he was really turning the corner and becoming elite in 09/10 and early 10/11, but he's just been screwed over by injuries.

Probably my favorite player to watch, I really do hope he stays here and gets some opportunities.

I think he does offer us something very different in midfield which makes him a good player to have. I think he's a player we could use when we're at home against teams below the bottom 6 ie teams happy to sit back and take a point at the lane. He's capable of pinging those balls through and over the top that get us in behind teams and I think we could do with that. His driven balls out wide like dawson does now are also very handy at releasing our 2 wide men however the difference is hudd always makes the pass unlike dawson. Id be very dissapointed if we were to sell him as i think he's a definite top 6 player, id certainly have him over charlie adam thats for sure.

I'm sure when we're in the CL he'll get quite a few starts(harry does like him), can't see him getting many this season though as by the time he's match fit there won't be that many games left unless we lose a couple of Modric/Sandro/Parker to long term injuries

Any news on how the Hudd is getting on?

Although we're doing quite well without him, I still like seeing him play, so it's a shame he's been out this long.

Huddleston is a major return! especially if Parker continues to get yellow cards all the time

What a shame, terrible news. I really wanted to have the boy back before the end of this season.

Hopefully he'll come back fine after his op ready for our assault on 4 competitions next season!!

If Spurs play a 4-2-3-1 with 2 holding midfielders i can see a rotation of Parker, Sandro and Huddlestone in that area, but as a 4-4-1-1 i dont see him getting in front of Modric, Parker, or Sandro in that midfield area. Arry is usually apt to shift the formation to suit the players he likes rather than vice versa.

It is a shame. Glad to see that he seems to be focused on recovery and getting ready for next season. As long as his passing ability hasn't dropped off he still has an important place in the squad, without a doubt.
