Defoe is a bottler.
When the pressure is on, He will go missing.

does ade ever celebrate with his teammates after they score?

i thought adebayor was quite poor today on another note. I didnt think he was his usuall self wasnt closing down as well as he usually does and not only that but i thought his passing was woeful especially when we were getting in some promising positions. I know he got the assist but i didnt think he was brilliant.

Ade isn't finding the back of the net either, but I guess that will only become a problem if we stop winning games.
it is okay if he is not scoring because he is a deadly finisher so people will mark him, it is the opposite with crouch no one will mark him because he is too weak if the wind blows strongly he will be whisked away before you can say trinidad,,, also this is even better when defoe is playing because both can finish with skill. the only thing with defoe is that his movement is weird, i do not know if i will ever like it. but his finishing is magical so it does not worry me. somehow he has put the ghosts of last season in a small cupboard and he is now scoring
Ades doing a lot of good at the moment. I keep saying it but its so good to have that extra pass avalible, takes the pressure off our holding players. The major difference from this year and last for me.
Ade was the one who played Walker in for our first goal against Fulham. He also set up our third for Defoe. It's not his best game for sure but we can clearly see his contribution to the team even when he's not playing well. If we had Crouch up front, we would have scored far less goals this season. Truth is Ade has been involved in a lot of our goals.

Hit the nail on the absolute head.
Adebayor changes the way we play: last season we wanted a striker who could finish the chances our midfield provided, now that striker is creating chances for the midfield! A striker like him takes you to the next level, if we had replaced Crouch with a poacher they would probably have more goals than Ade but I guarantee VDV, Bale, and Defoe's goal tally would be significantly lower, as would our total goals for numbers.
He has opened my eyes to modern football. It doesn't matter who scores them as long as the goals are scored, and with Adebayor our goal tally has gone up. What we needed, in fact, was not just a goal-scorer: it was a goal-scorer and creator at striker. And with Adebayor we have the best of both worlds.
