I love the guy to bits, there's nothing more that warms my heart than when he's running all excited and he's got that huge grin across his face, such a legend, but sadly he has been pretty poor lately, and that's a massive shame cause this guy has class, but we CAN do better, and we will do better in this window.

if he signs for us in the next few days, he can play on sunday : )
Obviously City won't sell to us before the game. They're stupid, but not that stupid. Besides, City are paying a massive chunk of his wages right now. Knowing Levy he'd want to get the deal done as late as possible so that we don't have to start paying his full wages (whatever we negotiate with him) too soon.
COME ON YOU SPURS!!!
yeap, totally agree mate, just wondering with a thought or two upon reading that article. it would be in typical block buster style if it did happen though eh lol the big question mark i guess is not during the middle of the loan terms, but the part when the loan expires. who knows what's going to happen then >.<
I have to make a point, the most blatantly obvious thing here is, whoever it is that has played up front, has been a massive improvement on crouch, and therefore that has made Ade look a world beater for us, now having said that, Ade has done very well for us, we"ve got him playing and actually enjoying his football again by all accounts, so far so good.
The situation could arise tho, where Ade gets dropped or taken off due to poor form etc, unlikely I know because Arry loathes change, but should this happen I wonder how he will react, we could see another side to him, but lets wait and see, as for VDV as a partner, well he"s not is he, he"s a luxury player, who"s got a free role to go wherever he likes, you could say the same about him too with regard to form , but so as long as we win, thats all that matters in the long run.

Any Ade haters out there.. just have a read of this article.
Why Spurs star
He's Just as good as Hoddle, He's better than Chris Waddle, His Mrs is a Model, He's Rafael Van Der Vaart!
I think we will find out how much we miss Ade on sunday. Whether we win, lose or draw we will see how Rafa And Defoe do together and how the rest of the team manage without Ades hard work and hold up play. Personally, i think we sure as hell will miss him but we still have enough quality to get a result.
I agree with all the comments that Ade has been sloppy in the last few games but he got off to a phenomenal start which was hard to keep up and even when he doesnt score he gives so much more to our game. And yes, hes certainly an improvement on Crouch. We are not going to get a better player than him upfront unless we really splash out and we HAVE TO make the Champions league again. Although i really rate Ade i would like to see a bit more rotation. Some people say that ADE and VDV can never be dropped but if they are not on form and Defoe is banging in the goals, then he should start a bit more. I know he doesnt contribute as much as those 2 but sometimes we just need someone to finish the move off, besides we have enough creativity in midfield. If 1 of our 1st choices has to be dropped, then it should normally be VDV but i dont see why VDV and defoe couldnt get the odd game together as starters, if anything just too keep competion hot and Ade on his toes.
What a great piece of reading. I totally agree.
And one more point which hasn't been said here- sure he isn't been clinical at times and sure some of his passes or touches are a bit slopy, but there is a reason for it- he works hard all the time, he is not standing on 16 jard box and waiting for his oportunity. If hewould stay on one place and let others do all the dirty job, he's finishing and first touch would be significantly better. In EPL the tempo of the game is really high, and if you want to help your team all the time, it takes a lot of energy. You could try it yourself, how is it easier to dribble- whether when in the start of the training, after a slight warm up, or in the end of the training, after you have for example hour of hard intervall training behind you and you haven't got any rest.
Anyone seen Ade's tweets do we really want him next season!
Steven Caulker is the messiah!
