My thoughts exactly. I understand bashing him doesn't help but like many I always thought of Keane as a legend until this. Sherringham's moves were more understandable and justified by the trophies he won - Robbie left us, the only club he'd settled at, for a team that we rivalled and beat last season while he was supposed to be captain. The only reason he came back to us is cause he hadn't sold his house in London and his wife hated Liverpool. He's too stuck up to drop down to Fulham or West Ham and like the other two would want him. Imagine the "legend" of rsol campbell coming back just to knock in an own goal or two then have the odd all expenses paid holiday to Scotland.

Say what you will, Robbie is no longer fit enough to wear the number 10 shirt at THFC. But by all means, Keano, go ahead and prove me wrong any time you feel like trying and I'll happily buy your shirt again...

I know Keane ran off to Liverpool but if you were at Liverpool and Spurs came in for you, you would jump at the chance. While I think Keane hasn't had a good game in awhile I'm not upset that he's staying. He was a good player, still has touches of class.

Following the closure of the summer transfer window, our four new arrivals - Sandro, William Gallas, Stipe Pletikosa and Rafael Van der Vaart - have been given squad numbers for the season.

Brazilian international midfielder Sandro arrived at the Club this week having won the Copa Libertadores with previous club Internacional a fortnight ago and will wear the number 30 shirt.

Experienced French defender Gallas joins us on a one-year contract and will wear the number 13 shirt.

Croatian goalkeeper Pletikosa arrives on a season-long loan from Spartak Moscow and will wear the number 37 jersey.

And the final arrival of the latest transfer window, Dutch international midfielder Van der Vaart, has been given the number 11 shirt.

In line with new regulations, the Club this week submitted a list of 25 players submitted to the Premier League, forming the squad of players that will be eligible to play in the competition from now until January 1 (alongside players under the age of 21).

BOLD = Premier League Squad of 25

I would imagine that our squad for the UEFA Champions League Group Stages matches will be pretty much the same as the Premier League squad.Jonathan Woodgate and Ben Alnwick were the only two senior Spurs players to miss-out in the Premier League list of 25.

oh and if Spurs were paying you more than what Liverpool were paying you as well. I'm sure Keane got a little pay jump at at the bindippers.
