Tottenham midfielder Adel Taarabt admits he is still in the dark regarding his future.
The 21-year-old has been at White Hart Lane since 2007 after moving from Lens, but spent last season on loan at Queens Park Rangers.
Moroccointernational Taarabt made a number of eye-catching performances for Rangers
last term, and has attracted interest from a number of clubs.
Spanish outfit Villarrealare reportedly keenest to secure his signature, and Taarabt wants to get the situation cleared up.
"I still do not have a clear future," he said.
"I need to speak with Spurs to clear up the situation. I have a deal with Tottenham but it is true that Villarreal have asked about me.
"My last season with QPR was positive and increased my level as a footballer."
Taarabt's former club Lens are also thought to be interested in him, as are West Ham and Sevilla.![]()
