Aaron Lennon injury woe
Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon will miss Sunday’s trip to Wigan and faces an uphill battle to prove his fitness for England’s March 3 friendly with Egypt.

Fitness battle: Aaron Lennon
He does not need an operation on his groin injury but the 22-year-old has yet to return to full training.
It is understood Lennon is not in boss Harry Redknapp’s plans for Wigan, which means he has just next week’s FA Cup replay against Bolton as a possible appearance before Fabio Capello names his England squad.

Finished an article yesterday on Lennon, check out the blog!
It's been my life, Tottenham Hotspur;
and I love the Club
4th place is ****ed. I hope we can beat Villa for 6th and get that Europa league spot. With Lennon back we can hopefully mount a serious challenge for the fa-cup.
did anyone lese think that he didnt look anywhere near as qick as this time last year... or is it still too early to tell...?
He needs to sharpen up just a tad , he needs another yard .
Have been saying for awhile he hasn't looked the same since he came back from his injury club or country. He looks off the pace and unwilling to run at defenders as he was doing the beginning of last season. I love little Azza but I do not thing his spot in the starting 11 should be guarenteed.
Even without his electric pace he still shits on bentley
Still too early, it will do him well that Dos Santos is starting to turn things around as it will drive him to constantly improve him game. Lennon is still our clear starter though until he gives 'Arry a reason for him not to be.
I'd have Bentley over Lennon if he keeps playing the way he is...
Bentley plays and teams will take Bale's pace out of the game. It is hard to take out two pacey wingers.
at the moment Lennon is far from pacey...
I wouldn't necessarily say far from pacey per say, but he isn't the burner he was before the injury. My big question is he slower or is he having trouble testing his injury? I had a serious leg injury and I haven't been the same since, could it be the same issue here? I would hope our training staff is better then what I had access to and he will be back to last year's level soon.
I agree or Dos Santos, Bentley played well at the end of last year and he offers a different skill set then Bale I think it could work quite well. Another thing which Lennon is reverting back to is his final ball is getting cut out too easily. Again I still think Aaron is one of our best players but if a guy is off form no need to play him every match considering the alternative options we have.
