Thread: Team news - Aston Villa

I have no idea how a team can have so much possession and not win the game, alot of the possession was in there half aswell. We didnt create enough clear chances for a team who dominated the whole of the second half and alot of the first but Villa set out to defend which made it difficult.

That said we are third now and need to get a win next week to keep us in the top 4, and ofcourse hope the scum lose tomorrow.

I'm extremely happy with a point from that game to be honest. I know they had all the luck in the world today, It was such a pain to see every single shot bounce off of random parts of villa players' bodies... but still, villa is a hard team to play against and we could easily have walked away empty-handed. with that point we still have those important 3 points over them and a better goal difference too.
the only thing I'm disappointed from today's game was the fact that Kranjcar didn't score. Second week he plays absolutely amazing and had plenty of chances but the ball just didn't want to go in. oh well, these days
