He had said he didnt find out until the team sheet was put in The doctor didnt let him before the game. We'd then have to use a sub which if we were to unfortunately get 2 injuries we'd be playing with no subs left. So he's most likely told Luka to give him 1 half and thats it.

Poor communication from the staff to Harry.

Harry said in his post match interview that, after he had chosen the team, he found out from the club doctor that Luka had been ill for the past three days!

This quote bothered me!

If Harry was picking the team, surely he should have been given ALL the facts, before making a selection?

And, with respect, why was Harry choosing the team, in the first place? Yes, I know that he's the manager, but he hadn't been at training all week. He hadn't seen who looked up for it; who looked out of sorts; who was sniffly or coughing; who didn't fancy the cold weather. Yes, I know that he's familiar with the players anyway, but everyone has periods when they feel better/worse than they normally do and only someone who watches you every day would pick up on this.

In my opinion, he should have left Joe & Kevin to select the side, based on what they had perceived, during the week. I wonder what team they would have picked?

Incidentally, word is that HR's trial may drag on into a third week. If so, he's going to struggle to be at our away game vs Liverpool on Monday week. How will he pick the team then?

I think the longer this trial drags on the more depressing its gonna get for us.

Was it just me, or was the atmosphere at Watford one of the best of any games this football season? I could barely hear the commentators and that's the way I love it! It feels that, especially recently, all I can hear at WHL is the announcers. This is the case for many games, I'm thinking it could be because of they tune the volume differently for every match. I'm all for stadium noise and less host/commentator bs.
