Good result for Spurs and the draw was well deserved.

We should now finish Fulam off at our place.

good result against a solid team that are one of the toughest to beat at their place, we were well drilled and orgainised, although fulham were probably the better side which is expected, even at cup games

bassong and dawson are really developing into a good partnership in the heart of the defence, hopefully they will be our established partnership real soon

look lads, we've got a replay at WHL, where we will be overwhelming favourites with the crowd in good noise because their spurs may be on their way to wembley , so foolham will have to come out at us and attack, and hopefully we'll absorb that and score a few on the counter

despite all the critics, our wee side have done good today considering our injury problems, so here here to the spurs, who are doing us proud atm with some solid performances

Jake Livermore & Andros Townsend became the 39th & 40th players to be included in Spurs competitive squads this season.

Over half those players are English...

I've got 2 newspapers in front of me - NOTW & the Express.

The NOTW man gave BAE 5 out of 10. The Express named him as their man of the match!

The NOTW man called Niko "A player with the talent but not the desire to be considered one of the best". That is SO rude and SO not true! Yes, Niko has his faults. But that statement is misguided. The same guy also had nothing much good to say about Luka.

Niko wasn't the best, but he wasn't playing on his natural side of the pitch. I know this will be construed as bias, but I actually thought he did better than Luka. Would really like to see Niko playing more centrally, just to see what he could do, if given the responsibility.

Pav wasn't at the races (I'm saying that quietly, for fear of reprisals). We missed a bubbly JD.

It wasn't a pretty game, but we did the job. No real complaints from me.
bae man of the match, that express bloke would want to put the crack pipe down straight away,he must have went on the piss and based his report on the highlights on motd ffs ha ha.brum im a pav fan as you well know and ill admit he was pants yesterday.

To be fair, I think we all kind of knew the Pav/Crouch partnership wouldn't really work, The Fulham defence could push right up because they knew no-one was really going to get in behind them with pace and that closed down the space to work in. With the replay, JD hopefully will be fit, giving the Fulham defence something different to think about.

      GOMES ON CLEAN SHEET:

Heurelho Gomes has turned Craven Cottage into his field of dreams.

The popular goalkeeper produced a world-class save to deny Zoltan Gera in the second half of Saturday's goalless draw against Fulham in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

Gomes was shattered after making a mistake that contributed to a 2-1 defeat to the Cottagers back in November, 2008.Having completely turned around his season last term, he has now returned twice to the stadium on the banks of the River Thames and produced vital saves in successive goalless draws.

Saturday represented his 14th clean sheet and made sure we were in the hat for Sunday's semi-final draw - if we beat Fulham in the replay at the Lane, we'll play Portsmouth in the last four of the competition at Wembley in April.

"Yes, it's turning into a special place for me!" beamed Gomes after Saturday's hard-fought draw. "It's always the best feeling when there is an important moment and I can help the team win or draw the game, when we get points or in this case, to keep going in the FA Cup."

It was a point-blank save as Bobby Zamora headed back Simon Davies' cross for Gera to power his header at goal from eight yards - Gomes was there to palm away.

"It was a difficult save because it's so close and the ball travelled so quickly from one side to the other side," added Gomes. "You have control your movement. I think this was a good save.

"Fulham is not an easy place to play. They are confident now, they beat Shakhtar, they play Juventus next week and they do well here. It's a tough place to play. We have a chance now at home to go to Wembley."

      DAWSON ON FULHAM DRAW:

Michael Dawson reiterated Harry Redknapp's thoughts that it was vital not to lose Saturday's FA Cup quarter-final at Fulham.

In a game full of energy and commitment but few clear-cut chances, we had the better of the first half and forced Mark Schwarzer into a fine save to claw away Peter Crouch's header.

Fulham stepped up a gear after the break and Heurelho Gomes produced the save of the match to turn away Zoltan Gera's close-range header.

However, we remained strong defensively and the home side came closest to breaking the deadlock when Vedran Corluka sliced just wide of his own net in the final minute.

We meet again at White Hart Lane on Wednesday, March 24 (7.45pm) for the right to take on Portsmouth in the semi-finals at Wembley over the weekend of April 10-11.

"I've never come here and had an easy game and that was the case again," reflected 'Daws', who captained the side and led by example again at Craven Cottage.

"They make it difficult for you and it's always tough but we're in the hat for the semi-finals and that's the main thing.

"It was one of those games where neither side really had clear-cut chances. Gomes made one world-class save just after half-time, it ended honours even and we'll take that.

"We would have loved to go through on Saturday but back at White Hart Lane we'll be full of confidence, the crowd will be right behind us and hopefully we'll go through."
