First Interview with Gent....
The most shocking thing about Mix is the lack of accent.
He grew up in Norway but you'd never know it by listening to him. I guess in the home when he's speaking English he's used to hearing his moms accent, so he just doesn't have one.

Agbossoumonde joins RailHawks | North American Soccer League
Still think he should have taken the GA deal when he had the chance.
Get in!!! Now my trips to WakeMed soccer park (nice facility by the way) will have some meaning behind them!
But seriously not a good move. The level of play in NASL is pretty bad, those guys would get beat pretty badly by an MLS team let alone a good European one. What's worrying is the lack of defenders coming up, this guy is supposed to be the future and going to play for the Railhawks isn't a very good choice.
That being said, he'll do well here and he's young enough to maybe take an MLS contract after this season. I remember seeing Le Toux playing against the Railhawks for the USL-1 Seattle Sounders in like 2008, and now look at him. You can make the step up.
Raul Mendiola is back home in the Galaxy academy.
He was training with Citeh but I know if he's having problems qualifying for the US, he never would have been cleared to stay in England. He tried Sevilla for a bit but I guess he's opted to stay home. I hope the Galaxy lock him up, best prospect in the US system if you believe the reports. Whether he'll ever play for the US remains to be seen, he wants too but he's not a citizen.
Torres was superb today.
Pachuca conceded 3 goals. Stupid goals as well, one a pen and another an own goal (in like the first minute). Both mistakes by the same defender. Pachuca were down 3 goals within 16 minutes and managed to turn it around and score 4 goals in the second half, the winner was a stoppage time penalty. Torres didn't get any assists but he was great. Sort of like when Modric has a brilliant match but doesn't accumulate any stats. He's definitely off in the summer, hopefully to a club were he can play regularly. Fair play to the whole team, any time you turnover a 3 nil deficit that's impressive.

Joe Gyau makes his debut for Hoffenhiem in DFB Pokal loss to Furth.
Short clip, nothing special. Twitvid
@nssmuckers you think you might make a very very short highlight clip of his touches, lol. This would be a Lancaster-esque job, he didn't get many touches. Might be hard to download that video.
I can't find a DL link for that match, even on Rojadirecta which has pretty much everything.
I will look a bit more, but it's not looking great.
Maybe in a day or two one will pop up since the match was just played today.

Great, finally the USSF is scheduling more friendlies in the South.
I'm not sure who will be available, especially because that's weird period for us considering Olympic qualifying and World Cup qualifying. I hope we can play a full team, not because I want to win necessarily, I just want to see how we play. We haven't had a fully healthy team with everyone available since the World Cup. I can't remember the last time Donovan, Dempsey, Holden, Gooch and Boca all played together.
I want to see this.
-------------Boyd----------------
Shea------Dempsey------Donovan
--------Holden--Jones------------
Lichaj---Boca---Gooch---Chandler
-----------Howard----------------
Boyd's a tricky one because he's not getting minutes for Dortmund but that's match I think he should start. I think he'll get a few apperances before the end of the season, and he needs to get some run with the first team if we're going to us him in Olympic qualifying (also the little side issue of getting him in the fold before Germany take him). He has a similar style to Bobby Z and all of the forward players are better with that type of player.

An hour long interview with Klinsmann on a range of topics.
@rossdfc
USSF has posted highlights from other meetings between Scotland and the USA, pretty cool. I remember the 2005 match and I vaguely remember '98 match. No memory of '96, I think I was out of the country.

I reckon we'll be playing something like:
-----------------Gordon-----------------
Hutton---Caldwell---Berra---Bardsley
Morrison---Brown---Adam----Bannan
------------Mackie--Miller-------------
So hard to predict with Scotland these days though. Could well be Allan McGregor in goal and wouldn't be surprised if guys like Forrest, Goodwillie, Mackail-Smith and even Rhodes possibly are involved.

I think we're starting to see the team take shape. Some players like in previous camps aren't available. Unfortunately though, we still seem to still have question marks in defense. Ike Opara made the roster which will please @AmericanHotspur , with how we've been performing he has every opportunity. I think he'd be given more of a look if he wasn't so injury prone. The culmination of the camp comes after a match with Mexico U-23's and that should be live on Univision in HD.
Get in there big man!!! Been calling out for this guy all year, before his injury I heard commentators who rated him higher than Ream. Plus he's from Durham and actually went to my high school. We have a picture of Ike in my coach's office, pretty cool. Some of my teachers also remember teaching him, it's pretty fascinating really. Can't believe what would happen if he goes to the Olympics.
Also, don't think it's just because he's from my town that I want him to succeed. I rate him, he's very fast and strong, good in the air as well. Got a brain, too. Athletic+not a headless chicken= good CBs for US level. Hopefully he takes this chance because god knows we need some defensive stars...
