Thread: England V Hungary Boos ?

Never been a fan of booing myself. Much prefer to not clap and say nothing if I didn't like something. Everybody totally silent would be eerie!

I'd like to sum up by saying that I thought we played very well , England looked like a cohesive unit that had that will to win , good passing and reasonably sound defending . There was a hunger to get forward totally missing from our recent WC campaign . I am very excited by the young players wherever they may come from . I thought Gibbs , Young & Zamora in particular all showed great promise , also Adam Johnson , Jagielka , Dawson & Wilshire showed that they should all be given extended runs in the team given their nervousness . I appreciate that we lurch from one life-or-death competition to another , but bringing in new young blood should inspire those tired first picks to raise their game . Oh , and one other thing , Rooney is not the son of god , he should be dropped . He is so patently out of sorts he should be allowed to work the gremlins from his game .

so would you not want Lennon to play for us? because his most recent games for England have been much the same... club and country are two different levels of football... Rooney is a prime example... excellent for Man Utd but shit for England
