"One-all! We only draw one-all!"
Anybody remember when we had the pleasure of singing "Four-nil! You only lose four-nil!" to the Irons? Well, perhaps the one-all chant would be an apt one right now after our fourth - yes, fourth! - consecutive one-all draw. You could look at it as four points that we've picked up. Then again, and particularly on the back of the utterly dominant performance we put >> Read more ...

On a day we saw all four seasons at White Hart Lane, this was a very welcome, and actually, fairly comfortable win.
With all the parking restrictions in place these days we tend to pitch up much earlier than we used to and sank a couple of pints in the Bricklayers before heading into the ground.
The line-up was pretty much as expected with King dropping out again. Still no Taarabt in s >> Read more ...

Ah, another European away day! Finally, and for the first time since the Seville trip last season, my sister and I made it to a European fixture in Europe. With the generous 2000 allocation we had it looked likely we'd get tickets so we booked our flights and hotels a few weeks ago, took time off work, and got ourselves ready to follow the boys on the continent again.
An 11:40 flight out of Ga >> Read more ...

Belatedly, I get 'round to writing the match report. Possibly, probably, almost certainly the most satisfying one I will have written so far! This was an amazing result. I was confident before the game that we'd win, but not even I would've believed it would end in that scoreline!
At least a couple of times at work leading up the game people had been on instant m >> Read more ...

With my ear blocked through infection and dosed up on antibiotics I made the trip up to London regardless last night. After some dodgy rear end skittishness from the car on the way up (a sure sign of potential rear puncture) I found that I was running at 6.5psi by the time I arrived at my mum and sister's. Should be 32psi! Good start.
We headed in on the underground and as we got closer to N5 >> Read more ...

MATCH REPORT Get effing in! What more could you ask for? League Cup Final..... beating Chelsea..... coming from a goal down..... qualifying for Europe for another season..... SILVERWARE! Come on! Put simply, this was brilliant. Just brilliant.
Ahead of the game I convinced myself we could do i >> Read more ...

Ah man. This is a game we could, we should have won. Instead, United sneak away from White Hart Lane with a point that never really looked likely for ninety-five minutes.
I went into the game with a strange confidence that we could actually beat United. I'm not sure how many people shared that view, certainly those who aren't Spurs fans, but I thought we could do it. With Hutton making his >> Read more ...

Its not often these days that I find cause for complaint when it comes to value for money when watching Spurs. Unfortunately, having paid £98 for two tickets, not to mention the travel cost, and having had to endure one of the worse footballing performances since Ramos took over, yesterday most definitely is reason for complaint.
On the way to the game I was confident >> Read more ...

We really paid for missed chances in this game. We really did. A replay is of little help now as the fixture pile-up begins.
Hang on..... we were here last season as well!
For yesterday's game I dragged myself out of my sickbed. OK, that's a slight exaggeration, but the pre-Christmas illness was back and it was touch'n'go for a couple of days d >> Read more ...
