Why Harry Hotspur is a master
Written by Administrator

Everyone has been harping on & on about how brilliant Martin O'Neill is this season.

However, Harry too is a superb manager & a master of the profession, perhaps better than O'Neill. Yes Villa are currently in 5th place, but an interesting opportunity to tun a direct comparison arose this weekend & you have to say that Harry came out on top.

Last weekend Spurs were away (at Villa by coincidence) &

Season Highlights so far
Written by Administrator
I know they have been few & far between but I just wondered what everybody's highlights from this season are so far?

I think the Arsenal away game for me is right up there, as is Pav scoring in the final minutes to make Spurs the only team to have beaten league leaders Liverpool at that point of the season. More recently beating Villa away from home was good too.

However, on a more personal level, Harry Redk

League Cup Final: Manchester United 1-1 Tottenham Hotspur aet (United win 4-1 on pen)

Well, what a massively different experience this was. Compared to a year ago, not only did we not win, but there wasn't quite the same buzz about it all. It was a strange sort of day.

One that started early with a train up to London. I've wised up now. Buy yourselves a couple of tins from Tesco. Much cheaper than buying them on the train!

A spot of lunch at my sister's and we headed for Wembley. No doubt about it,

Tottenham 0 - 0 Ars***l Match Report

The regulars will know that I've not been around much lately. Work is nuts. Its hampered my ability to get onto the forum as much as I'd like lately, but even that wasn't going to stop me getting to the North London Derby!

After a massive curry and several beers the previous night, the early start was not exactly appreciated! The snow was still lying pretty thick around Boringstoke, but the trains were running fine so after the

Burnley 3-2 Spurs (Spurs win 6-4 on aggregate)
I’ve never had such a strong combination of anger and joy after last night. We went out to lose the game 1-0 or 2-0, reflected in our isolation of Defoe up front and Modric in the hole. Did Harry honestly think that would work against big, British, no nonsense defenders on a wet pitch?

But weren’t outplayed at all, up until their 2nd goal on 73 minutes it was a fairly even game in terms of chances, as Burnley only dominated possession because we stupidly sat back, as if to arrogantly say ‘let’s see if you can

Spurs Chasing Naughton
Written by Administrator

Apparently Spurs are among a number of clubs courting the Sheffield United young defender. Manchester City, Fulham, Aston Villa are all showing big interest as well as Spurs prompting the suggestion of a summer auction. However, I'm not convinced we need to be troubling ourselves with him, however good he may be. Naughton plays as a RB & can move into RM. Correct me if I'm wrong but we already have a ton of talent down our right-hand side,

UEFA Cup: Tottenham Hotspur 1-1 Shakhtar Donetsk (Shakhtar win 3-1 on aggregate)

Ah well, we all knew it was going to happen really. I mean, even with the most optimistic of optimistic minds, the chances of overturning a two goal deficit? Slim at the very best, and with the promised - expected changes - it was always going to be a tough task.

We broke with tradition and paid a visit to Rudolphs before the game. A couple of warm-up beers, and as we got into the stadium the team news was..... well, certainly not a shocke
