How Far We Have Come
Written by Pete Swanson

"Funny old game football " Jimmy Greaves was always saying and how right he was.

All of a sudden major interest is being taken on our best players home and abroad, although most of our supporters are horrified at the prospect of losing any of our players it is a compliment of the highest order to how far we have come, under the previous regime of Juande Ramos the only club to bid f

Tottenham 9 Wigan 1
Written by Pete Swanson

Sunday 22nd of November 2009 will be etched in the memory of the Tottenham faithful who witnessed this mauling of Wigan Athletic. I'm not sure if anyone can claim they saw this result coming although plenty will tell you we are more than capable of dishing out a humiliation on our day, after all earlier this season we put five past Hull and Burnley in the league.

HT: 1-0 To be honest the first half was not

Life Under Harry Redknapp
Written by Pete Swanson

This season more than ever started with a renewed belief that we had finally assembled a squad capable of challenging the top four clubs in the Premiership, Harry Redknapp steadied the ship got us out of the relegation zone and only just missed out on the Europa Cup. He brought in a few new faces to ‘freshen it up a little’ as he put it, after the first few games our form was great and then things start to happ

So The Madness Has Ended
Written by Ross Grindlay

What is it with Tottenham and transfer deadline day?  Spurs captured the signing of Niko Kranjcar from Portsmouth for £2.5million, which is fantastic business in my opinion. However we were linked with a host of other players including Anton Ferdinand, Matthew Upson, Martin Petrov and David James. Even with all the rumours it turned out to be a fairly quiet deadline day for Spurs compared to the last few years.

Bassong and BAE; A first time for everything
Written by Barry O'Leary

There we are; first game of the season and already we have more points than we did after eight games last season. A fantastic start to the season I’m sure you’ll all agree. Before the game, I was optimistic about a win; Liverpool have lost Alonso to Real Madrid and watching Torres play for Spain the other night he did look a bit burnt out, it must have been all that sangria and paella over the holiday. Harry Brings Excitement to The Jan Transfer Window
Written by Pete Swanson

What ever camp your in you cannot take away the fact that since HR has arrived at WHL the anticipation is imense. Who will HR buy? who will he sell? Surely he is the champion of wheeler dealers, not for many a year has there been this buzz at WHL. Every home game you just have to listen to the fans conversations in the pubs and cafe's around the stadium, it's all about who's coming in and going out, we all expect H

Spurs 1 Man Utd 3 - A Tactical Win?
Written by Administrator

Firstly I would like to start by saying that I am an admirer of Harry Redknapp however this weekend saw him lose out on a tacial level to SAF.

Spurs went ahead after just forty odd seconds but seemed to then fall into the tap of long ball instead of the following football that has worked so well this season.  In fairness with Crouch up front we can get goals this way but it makes us far to predictable

3 out of 3 and Birmingham at home next
Written by Barry O'Leary

Isn’t it a lovely time to be a Spurs supporter? What a great comeback today against West Ham and what a fantastic start to the season. I thought beating Liverpool last week was a dream start, but after the 5 v 1 thumping of Hull and solid performance today against London rivals West Ham, we’ve gotta be ‘Appy as ‘Harry. Before today’s game, I must admit I was expecting a draw. We haven’t won the first t

Are we happy bunnies?
Written by Barry O'Leary

There isn’t long left, we’ve made it through the summer and it’s time to ask your misses, or mum if that’s the case, to wash your Spurs shirt for Sunday’s clash against Liverpool (Kick off 4pm). It’s certainly been a long summer and I’m glad that we can get on with some footy again. There was a moment when I was getting withdrawal symptoms and started watching tennis, golf, and even cricket, but letâ€
