@P UNIT 1980 after Black Ops I was VERY dissapointed and I was compemplating not getting MW3. But if I am honest I am glad I did.
It follows on nicely from MW2 so there are a lot of the same characters which is quite nice actually.
I'm about 20% through the single player mission which is not as much of a cake walk as BO. The game play is excellent and they have well and truly gone back to what they do best IMO.
The multiplayer combines the best bits of MW2 & BO.
To try to prevent "camping" the maps are much smaller than usual. They have also go e back to MW2 "earning" of weapons & perks which I think is brill but does encourage "boosting" which sadly I have seen & reported.
There is a new online match called "kill confirmed" when your set a target score of 65 points.
The aim is that during a team death match after killing an enemy they drop their dog tags which if you collect gets your team 1 point. You can also get "kill denied" by collecting a team mates dog tags after they have been killed preventing the opposing team scoring.
This scenario actually breeds better teamwork IMO.
Well that's it for this episode of fatboys reviews
Until next time
