Pretty sure there isn't a way to get it without steam I'm afraid, there has been a lot of cracking of the game in the previous years so I presume this is a safer way.

On that, I'm playing it now, and Spurs are awful, our youths are awful, but bale is 4.5 stars, what's going on here! Poor Lunogo, 2 stars, Soli is 4 though.

Disapointed! Time to buy a new squad.

I wouldn't even bother with the demo. I downloaded it last night and the stats for all the players are exactly the same as FM 2011 and i'm not even kidding.

The ratings are so shit because Kevin Bond is the one rating them, get a decent assistant manager and that changes

King is 4 star, parker is 3, kaboul 2.5, walker 2, rose I'm not 100% hes out on loan lol.

But as was said, got a naff assistant manager so it would change if i bought a better one.

Edit: This is all current ability, their potential is different, Walker has 3.5stars potential

Ye on my fm11 save i managed to get valter di salvo who is the best assistant manager in the game and he rated king at 2.5, parker at 3 and modric at 3 which is pretty funny.

I wish that they had more transparency with the ratings.

King is kind of correct although i would rate him 4.5, parker is definitely 4+ kaboul I would have as 3 maybe 3.5 with potential of 4.5, walker should be 3 with potential of 4.5

do most games seem to hate Spurs???

Bond rated Daws 2 and half star got Tony Coton (he's class, free agent aswell) and hes rated a star higher

I wouldn't say they hate us, they just have their Sky Sports glasses on.

Only played 2 matches in the league, 4-2 win home to wolves (Ade debut hat trick as well :P ) and a 1-0 win away at Stoke. Our team actually plays VERY much like we do IRL, and Bale is VERY good in this, he has ripped those 2 teams to shreds.

I bought a new assistant manager and experienced the same thing though, my ratings went down so. Great game so far though.

Also, my new assistant manager wants me to change Pav from Rotation to Key Player... LOL

I got rid of Pav straight away lol, only on loan but still.

Bought in 2 players so far Jan Vertonghen for 7.5mil, and Mateo Kovacic from Dinamo for 800k

Yeah Damiao looks amazing stat wise.

I've only bought Emre Can really, plenty of good players on here though, had 20m for Tevez accepted but his wages were unreal lol, other than that, next time I play I'll get rid of Lennon, he's done poor for me so far, GDS on the wing now.
