well you have subs and your starting eleven... say like you want 3 defenders instead of 4, sub off a defender and replace him with a midfielder/striker but from what i see there with your line-up you have already done it

I prefer 352 because midfielders get more points per goal and tend to get way more assists than forwards. I also never get DM's. Just my two cents.

as Glen has done his league as a points table I created a league for Head-To-Head which basically means each week you will be paired up with someone else in your league and you will play against each other, for example

Me vs Glen

if my team gets me a total points of 34 and Glens is 40 he gets three points i get 0, and your put into a league table, normal points for football (3 for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss)

the code for the league called Premier League1 is ‎12106-5443 feel free to join in this as well

basically every week you choose your starting 11 (or leave it the same if you think your team will do well) I usually choose players based on the next opponents, for example you really wouldn't want to choose a QPR defender if they have Man Utd at old trafford as they will concede goals thus not gaining you many points, unless you want to take a gamble that is, so choose your starting 11 each week based on form and next opponents.

there are no in game subs, i think the cut off for any substitutes is Sat morning before any games have been played (remember to keep an eye on injuries because if they don't play they will score you 0 points!)

I hope this is helping, im not usually very good at trying to explain things! lol

EDIT: just to add formation means nothing in fantasy football, they limit you to 3 defenders otherwise people will have a team filled with midfielders and strikers, just like you have to have 1 goal keeper in your starting 11, but don't think by only selecting 3 defenders is going to effect your team, the team is done by individuals gaining points that are combined to give your team and total point tally after every game week.

selecting a captain means that particular player will get double points, so its best choosing someone you think may be a high point scorer (assists/goals eg Fabregas, Bale, VdV etc) and the Vice Captain is there in case for some reason your captain doesn't play he will become the captain for that game, so choose someone else you think maybe a high points scorer.

Your substitutes are useful because if one of your starting eleven dont play they will be auto subbed out and a bench player will come in at the end of the gameweek so if you had say vdv in and he didnt play but you had left silva on the bench. He would sub into the team and get you points. This only happens if a player doesnt play at all. If he gets a 1 minute camio he still counts.

Also with totalling up points 2000 is usually a decent target. Once you break that barrier you tend to be doing well. Remember that player hit form and lose it like defoe lol so having the right captain and players at the right time goes a long way.. i remember the year defoe scored 5 my dad captained him. Threw him up the table.

And sorry mate i didnt run one last year in this forum and couldnt find an old one in search so im not sure about forum winners. DaveYid sounds like he wouldve won though with a finishing place around 150.
