Haha for the first time in nearly 30years New Zealand has qualified for the world cup.
Unbelievable... we just bet Bahrain 1-0!

We may have had an easy as hell run, but i don't care, we've done it!!

good on ya mate, I'm looking at moving to auckland in a couple of years and would love for football to become more popular there as I'm not much into cricket. I like the all blacks so I'm sorted on the rugby front.

hearty congrats- hope this can be a catalyst for the game in your neck of the woods.

One of my most exciting days as a sports fan was the day we (US) beat Trinidad and Tobago at their stadium to qualify for Italia 90- I remember showing up for school the next day being really excited and noone knew what I was talking about...

anyway, well done.

This is the best thing that could of happen for the sport here in NZ... There were over 35000 supporters last night, it was amazing. They put any rugby crowd to absolute shame.

Rugby has always been our main sport, but the popularity of football is definately increasing, its great.

Luminoir, ive come across half a dozen Spurs supporters in the last year, so another would be great haha

You would of thought that with half a year to the world cup, that people living in South Africa would know at least how many teams compete in the bloody competition.

Never should of got it.
