He is a Class A muppet, but credit where credit is due! Champions League and World Cup final in the same season. The bloke must of done something right somewhere!

Its worrying that he is the best Europe, let alone the WORLD can offer as far as a ref goes! Scary even.

generally he usually has very good seasons. The only games ive ever seen him do badly are the spurs ones, esp the one at OT 2 years ago. But i actually think hes a quality ref

I don't know how/why the media think they can simply brush England's shattered world cup hopes under the carpet just by pointing out that an English referee will officiate the final!

What difference would it make. He won't be able to actually WIN the f*cking trophy so I'm 100% not interested who referees the game, whether he is English or not.
