I'm almost all out of care for this guy.
Tottenham Hotspur - A Life Long Labour of Love.
If it's true then goodbye, no player is bigger than the club and DB should be working his socks off to get back into Arry's plans, on the other hand is it just another journalist filling up space.
I've got no time for bigtime charlies.

Come On You SPURS
I think this may have some credence , Bentley has hit a spiral and getting done for drink driving was a sign that he's not thinking straight . Trying to unplace Lennon would make any decent right winger want to rip his own hair out , but to be petulent and disrespectful to the gaffa is like turkeys voting for Christmas . Mind that door dont hit you in the arse as you leave David
I constantly wanted us to give him a chance. Urged people on here to give him another chance.
After the Man Utd game, I think my last bit of patience has gone.
No doubt in my mind that he will be great for whoever he joins. Just seems Bentley and Tottenham Hotspur don't go to well together, even though they seemed so perfect for each other.
He is a playboy and not someone that belongs at our club imo. Ive read so many times about our team needs to be made from winners his not a winner in my eyes. Arry will sell him but the problem is who will want him?
Whos going to want a £15m playboy..... We'll be lucky to get £10m imo!
My favourite spurs player!
If we can get £10m then great.
I am a bit like contrast, I thought he would be great for us, seemed to be a player that plays the traditional Spurs way. But for one reason or another it just hasn't worked out.
Great shame, I too think he will do well elsewhere, but it appears his time at Spurs has run out. HR won't put up with a champagne Charlie and unfortunately that, it seems, is what Bentley has turned into.
If he is not on the bench for the Wolves game Saturday, it will speak a 100 words and the story is true.
I will leave judgement until kick off but my feeling is Arry has already shown him the door.
WE'RE THE PARK LANE
WE ARE N17
6 million is the most I can see us getting for him and if someones was to offer it I'd rip there hand off if I was Levy. One of the most over rated players we have ever brought and that's saying something.
His work rate is poor, his attitude even poorer and we should have took what we could have got when he pissed it up and got behind a wheel of a car. He's a idiot.
Levy will not accept less than £10 Mil , I just cant see that happening . If we cant raise the money we want from his sale then he should go out on loan . In fact if i could have my way he would go out on loan tomorrow until January , so he's already in the shop window .
I think your right kev i cant see DL taking less than £10m, No way! But like i said no club is going to want to touch him, well not for £10m anyway. Kevs right a loan move is the only option imo.
Its a sad day in football when Dean Ashton has to retire from injury and a player like David bently throws his career away.
My favourite spurs player!
We'll probably get £10 mil & £6 million paid depending on performance eg minimum number of games/goals etc.
People say that he should needs to be given the chance...but he has, when Lennon was injured. Did he take it? No. Sell him on...
Waste of space Bentley! I really wanted him to suceed at Spurs but this shows he's nothing more than a quitter.
I mean back healing it and toe punting it to no one as a protest ain't the right was to do things.
Get rid of him and get some money back in Jan.
If thats true then David Bentley is a complete douche.
I love how in that same friendly match, Giovani dos Santos got his head down, worked hard, and scored a couple of goals. However, DB treats it like a kickabout in the park.
I think that speak volumes for the attitude of both players, and there was a point that we all thought Gio had the same mentality.
Get rid. That game against Manchester United did it for me. That was his chance to prove he's worthy, and he failed.
Keep Giovani as back-up on the right. I actually think he's more of a right winger then left, even thought he's left footed. Ashley Youngs right footed and is a left winger. With Gio being 4th striker and back-up on the right, that increases the chances of him getting games, as i really want to see this kid given a chance.
I can see us getting around £10m for Bentley. I dont think he's worth that, but how Levy got the money he did for Bent I will never know.

Bentley: Clashed with Redknapp
Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has played down suggestions of a rift with David Bentley.
Redknapp and the midfielder reportedly had a bust-up while preparing for Saturday's clash against Wolves at the club's training ground in Chigwell.
Although admitting there had been a disagreement, Redknapp insisted the incident would have no bearing on whether Bentleywould be selected atWhite hart Lane.
He said: "Part of it happened, a very small part of it, but it was nothing really.
"David is here and has trained hard this week, he is available for the game."
