The CC fixture against Manure saw an opportunity for a lot of fringe guys to get a run. For the most part performances from such players were underwhelming at best. That being said who are guys that have to go in January? For me right now it seems that Pav is gone given the recent article. Based on performance I would say that Hutton and Bentley both should be shown the door. With young guys waiting in the wings for a chance why should we hold on to players that have proven they cannot perform? Bostock, Rose, etc. should all be worthy of matches in the near future (or when they return from loan) and to have players like Bentley and Hutton really restrict their chances. Thoughts?
I've always been first to say, hold up, given a chance they can do the business. They have in the past, and I'm sure they will in the future. There was only a certain amount of games until I had to say, I'm wrong, they are not good enough.
Bentley, I didn't think he started too badly last night. Then eventually just got out classed . . .. by de laet and then later Gary Neville.
Hutton. Fook me, I personally thought he was the worst player on the pitch. Tracking back was non existence. I've seen a man with no legs get forward and put better balls in the box than him.
Jenas. When my Dad told me he was playing, I argued the toss. Sums him up.
Keane. Brilliant for Ireland, then shocking for us.
I agree, we have some of the most promising youth in the country. They would of benefited a lot more playing against Manchester United at Old Trafford than the hopeless muppets that once again, let us believers down. dos Santos, Rose, Bostock, Parrett . . . . they would of played with their heart on their sleeve, instead of once again, turning the game into something just short of an exbitition.

Thats Harry's job mate
Pav, Hutton and maybe even Bale out
Bentley to stay in. Big fan of giving Bostock and Gio places.
Pavs a definite to go judging by his agents comments. Bentley looks a stayer - haven't read any rumours at all...Defoe will be staying despite links to Barcelona...
Jenas
Pav
Jenas
Hutton
And did i say Jenas!?
I thought last nights CC against manure lacked passion, desire and Harry looked embarrassed by a peformance that was toothless. Certainly theres going to be a few on there way out come january, if we want to get in top four we need a squad worthy of keeping us there and last night put doubts in mind against a weak man utd side. get rid of the deadwood Harry, we are not far from being a consistent side week in week out, but have we got strength in depth last night showed us to be a bit short of the mark.
Pav is guaranteed to leave.
I can also see Hutton being sent back on loan to Rangers or something to help them out. Unfortunately I can't see anyone actually giving us a good bid for him.
I say we keep Bentley so we have cover just in case Lennon is injured. Though I wouldn't mind Niko playing their![]()
All depends on who comes in, remember this squad with some big contributions from JJ and Robbie are in 3rd place, they know the way we play and we don't want to disrupt that, keep this two until at least the summer.
Fringe players with no virtually no time on the pitch, Pav, Hutton, Bentley can go. I think Bale with his injury issues should stay till the summer he does at times look quality.
January is not the time for major changes. Off course one 'big' name could slot straight in but not sure if that is on the cards.
Let's bring in Sandro and maybe a couple of other players with an eye on blooding them this year so they are established for next season's CL campaign ...... COYS

keane - sell (if other striker can be bought)
jenas - sell
hutton - sell
bentley - sell
pav - sell
bale - keep (looking good and also BAE at African Cup for jan)
o'hara - bring back. Some more competition in midfield. Sell him in Summer if not good enough.
sandro - buy. " " " " "
striker - buy (workhorse who chases after everyball and gets involved in the attack. Eg: Tevez)
Got to be optomistic
Hutton- i would sell him he has not impressed me at all
Jenas- name says it all really
Pav- His agent is a prick, hes lazy bit like berbatov
------------------------------------------------------------------
Bale- when he plays he impresses me, he was one of the best v manure and has got a great left foot
Keane- has to get sold unless he finds his form back
bentley- loan out to a team like everton or aston villa
Deffinantly wont happen, they are direct rivals with us at the moment (admittedly Everton are flopping) but anything that makes them stronger is a mistake.
I have a feeling keane will stay till the summer and then be sold, we need leaders in the team, hopefully a replacement (leadershipwise) will be bought in jan and given a few months to settle before they take over duties.
