Portsmouth boss Hart hopes to sign outright Tottenham’s O’Hara.

Portsmouth boss Paul Hart admits he wants to sign permanently on-loan Tottenham midfielder Jamie O'Hara.
O'Hara has been one of Pompey's brightest performers since arriving at the club.
He has made seven appearances and broke his scoring duck with a 30-yard strike in the 3-1 defeat at Blackburn. Hart feels bringing in the player should be a priority.
He told The News: "Jamie – like most of the players we signed in August – has fitted in brilliantly.
"I think he enjoys it here and I think he'd like to stay. Him saying he doesn't want to walk away sums up his attitude, but every player we've got is determined to get this right in very difficult circumstances.
"That is the sort of attitude we need.
"I've gone on record saying we'd like to keep him and that hasn't changed and Jamie has said he'd like to stay."

I for one would hate to lose Jamie as his attitude is brilliant and I reckon we will regret him moving on big time, what do you all think?

The reason he is on loan is to regain his confidence , i dont think we should let him go completely . The reason Jamie o Hara is wanting away is because he's getting guaranteed first team football at Portsmouth . Players that just love playing football are like that . Harry needs to get in his shell like and tell him that he is still in his CL plans to resettle his mind .

Hands off Hart! Of course he wants him to stay, he can do everything you want a central midfielder to do. We already have lack of central players, I'm sure Harry won't give him up.

It works both ways there mate , we took Defoe Crouch , and Kranjcar off of them because they are in the mire money wise ( i must say Kranjcar for a song was sweet ), they cant afford to buy players - so Harry is doing his old club and us a favour at the same time . But i dont see Jamie staying there if Harry wants him at the lane . Its just Hart making noises trying to attract new players to his club . I cant blame him for sounding the battlecry - but to bring our player into it might make Harry withdraw the favour !!!.

I can't recall JOH wanting to leave Spurs. Hart may want JOH but JOH may not want to leave Spurs for Pompey. If Pompey maintains their premier league status, maybe JOH may want to leave if it means first team football.

No worries mate I really hope Harry brings Jamie back to WHL. I just love the way Jamie plays the game...110% effort everytime he pulls the shirt on.

I'm obviously in the minority, but I wouldn't mind him staying down there. Can't deny he does give it 110% every time, and he occasionally has a sweet shot on him but I just don't think he's that good. He's obviously not happy bein a squad player so for him to stay might be best for both sides

Hopefully he'll come back n prove me wrong tho
